Swoon Thursday (#71) and Giveaway: Since Last Summer by Joanna Philbin

Swoon Thursday is a hot meme hosted by the fabulous ladies at YA Bound!

- From the book you’re currently reading, or one you just finished, tell us what made you SWOON. What got your heart pounding, your skin tingling, and your stomach fluttering

- Try to make the swoon excerpt 140 characters (or less), if you are going to tweet about it. Use the hashtag #YABOUND when tweeting

This week, my swoon is from Since Last Summer by Joanna Philbin!

Before she knew what was happening, he leaned down and kissed her. She put her arms around his neck and surrendered to the kiss, letting it build until he put an arm around her waist, bringing her closer. Her hands found his hair. His hands traveled up and down her back, holding her closer and tighter to him... She wanted this guy. And even more important, he wanted her.

- Hardcover copy, page 242

The Giveaway:

To enter, answer the following question in the comments:

What are you looking forward to this summer—what books are you hoping to read, movies you hope to see, places you hope to visit. . .?

Answer here on my blog, as well as on Twitter! Use the hashtag #SinceLast Summer, so all the entries can be tracked. On my blog, I'll randomly choose one winner, and email the publisher with that winner's name and information. On Twitter, one winner from all of the tweets will be chosen (not by me, just saying).

So, leave a way for me to contact you (preferably an email address, but do something so that the trolls won't spam anyone). I believe this giveaway ends on June 17th!

What will you win? A beach bag full of books and other goodies, from Little, Brown! And you *know* prizes directly from publishers have great stuff. So. Get to it!

I think this giveaway is for USA residents only. I'm sorry, lovely international people! But this giveaway is sponsored by Little, Brown (directly), so I have no control over this :\

Good luck! Hope you enjoy the swoon, and my reviews! And thank you, Little, Brown for this opportunity! :)

  18. One of the main movies that I was most looking forward to seeing (and did see recently) is The Fault in Our Stars. And as for books, I would have to say the Mortal Instruments series. I bought the last book, City of Heavenly Fire, but gave it to my sister to read first because I plan to start the series from the beginning as it's been awhile since I read the others. Must refresh my memory for the best experience. :D
And I have no plans for taking a trip anywhere and that's unfortunately not likely to change.
