Stacking the Shelves (#264)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, January 7th to Saturday, January 13th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

Gone Rogue (Wires and Nerve, #2)

Thank you, Macmillan! I still need to read book one. This new volume will be available on January 30th!

From NetGalley:

Thank you, Forever! This is easily one of my most anticipated adult romance books of 2018. I can't wait to dive in!

This week was crazy busy at work! But in exciting news, I joined a gym! I'm currently very sore but excited to keep working out. I used to be really good about gymming in high school and the first half of college, but I've dropped the ball in the last two years. Wish me luck, fam!

  1. I'm glad I'm not the only one who still hasn't read the first Wires and Nerve volume yet. I haven't even bought it yet so it might be a while until I get around to it. Haha

  2. I definitely want to read the Wires and Nerves books now that I'm having Lunar Chronicles withdrawals.

Way to go with the gymming. Hopefully you'll get into the swing and the soreness will subside.

    Have a great weekend, Alyssa!

  3. Ooh nice! The nice thing about graphic novels is how quickly they read! You can read book 1 in no time! I can't wait to continue Iko's adventures!! Happy Reading!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. Good for you joining the gym! Maybe it will be easier to keep it up, because your schedule is more solid with working every day vs changing class schedules.

  7. Congrats on the gym going. I started going a few weeks ago myself. I signed up for a 4 mile charity run to make sure I didn't slack off. I really like Altered so two thumbs up to that Instagram post. Happy lifting!

  11. Good luck with the gym. I'm thinking of joining my undergrad college's gym because it's month to month and not too expensive for alumni!

  12. This is the first I've heard of Wire and Nerves. Shows how behind I am on graphic novel news! It looks great though, I'm going to have to search out the first volume.

  13. I keep seeing Wires and Nerve around and may have to try it! And good luck with the gym. It's always a little sore when you've been away for a while, or at least that's what I've found lol.

  18. Yay, that's awesome that you joined a gym! In 2017 I was so good about going to the gym; however, where I live currently there is no gyms nearby :( The Katee Robert book looks great. Have a wonderful week, Alyssa! :)
