Feature and Follow Friday (#29)

The Feature & Follow is a creative meme that allows bloggers to get to know each other, and gain more followers! It is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

If you would like, it would be great if you followed me via Email, Linky, Bloglovin, or Google+ (all on the right). I have no idea what's going on with GFC, so I'd prefer you follow me in a new manner. Let me know in the comments if you did, leave a link to your blog, and I will comment and follow back! I always do, I promise! Thank you so much!

Q: What do you do with your books after you are done reading them?

That's easy! If it's a print book, I either

- Keep it
- Give it away on the blog/Twitter/Facebook
- Give it to a friend
- Let friends/bloggers borrow it
- Donate it to ARCycling
- Put it off for trade on YA Book Exchange

If it's a eARC or Kindle ebook, I just leave it on my Kindle.

And you all? What do you do with your books, once you read them?

  1. New to the hop. I borrow most of mine, if I do own a book it's cause I've bought it on sale. In which case it goes back on the shelf

    1. I used to do the same - before I started accumulating massive amounts of books just by blogging. But the keepers are keepers, and are on my shelf!

  2. I shelve them if it's a print, bad or good. I think of them as a book I should re-read later on id I didn't like them the first time to see if I will change my mind. Or give them away if I know I still wouldn't like them.

    1. I do the same - if I like it, I'll re-read it and it's shelved. If I don't like it or won't re-read it, I'll do something else.

  4. Oh, you're better than me. I usually shelf all mine no matter what. Maybe I'll try YA Book Exchange one day, though. :)

  6. I just found out about ARCycling. It's a great program. I only wish that I actually got some ARCs on paperback to donate back.

  7. Yeah, 99% of my books are real books or maybe like 95%! But I tend to keep 99% of all books! They just go on my shelves and look so pretty being there and read! If I didn't like one I donate it to the library.

  9. Fun question :) I used to have a ton of massive bookshelves, but most of mine are sitting in boxes in storage right now. I hate not having access to them!

  10. YA BOOK EXCHANGE *claps* :DD I either trade or I loan books out or they sit on my shelf. I'll sometimes gift ARCs to bloggers who want them.

  12. I need to look into the book trade options - I have a hard time letting go of books, but if I knew I was getting another one in exchange it might be easier.

  13. Perfect answer Alyssa! I'll have to look into the YA Book Exchange! I just got a few books and if I don't end up liking them its nice to have a place to trade them.
