Stacking the Shelves (#223)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, March 26th to Saturday, April 1st?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

A Roar poster

Thank you, Tor! No, I'm not home yet (I will be on Saturday night), but I broke my own rule for this book. It poured rain on Friday, and this package got soaked. My sister messaged me pictures of the package, and it was a bit damaged... so I told her to go ahead and open the package and take out whatever was in it. The poster is a tiny bit wet in a corner, but otherwise, everything looks okay!

The rest!

A nice surprise from First Second/Macmillan! My little cousin might enjoy some of these. Good timing too, because her birthday is in a week!

Thank you, Penguin! I read this one last year and really enjoyed it. =)

From Amazon:

Free sampler! It includes a sneak peek of The Darkest Promise too. :D

I'll post the other book (I think it was just one more package) when I get home on Saturday! A quiet mail week, which is exactly what I needed.

Friends! If anyone wants to help me out, please like THIS or THIS post! Much appreciated. :D If you share that graphic with the hashtag #Snowstormlings, you could win an eARC of Roar. You can also win a preorder of Roar HERE.

Also, don't forget about my pageviews giveaways! The Twitter one ended, but the two blog giveaways are still open (until Saturday night)!

  1. Oh man, yes! It poured so hard the last few days here. I was very relieved that I didn't get any packages because all our mail was so damp.

    Have a great weekend, Alyssa!

  8. Roar definitely looks interesting, and glad the water damage wasn't worse. I hate it when it pours and book packages get wrecked. Ugh!

  27. Roar looks pretty interesting. I'm glad the rain didn't get to it! It was so rainy here on Friday. I had planned to let my students outside to film their book trailers, but they had to be inside instead. I've actually been meaning to read This One Summer. I'm a fan of graphic novels.
