Waiting on Wednesday (#91): Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week, I'm featuring:

Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton
Publisher: Delacorte Books for Young Readers
Publication Date: February 10, 2015

Summary (from Goodreads):

For readers of A Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games comes an epic new series.

The night Quin Kincaid takes her Oath, she will become what she has trained to be her entire life. She will become a Seeker. This is her legacy, and it is an honor.

As a Seeker, Quin will fight beside her two closest companions, Shinobu and John, to protect the weak and the wronged. Together they will stand for light in a shadowy world.

And she'll be with the boy she loves--who's also her best friend.

But the night Quin takes her Oath, everything changes.

Being a Seeker is not what she thought. Her family is not what she thought. Even the boy she loves is not who she thought.

And now it's too late to walk away.

ANYTHING FOR FANTASY. EPIC FANTASY :D

  11. Yay, more YA fantasy! This one sounds really interesting although so far the synopsis is kind of vague. Still, I'm intrigued. But I must say I'm always a little bit cautious when books are described as "for fans of Game Of Thrones or The Hunger Games" because most of the time they don't live up to that :D Cool pick! :)

    1. I never pay attention to comparison or pitches. I just like to read what is given, not short summaries or comparisons! Thanks :D
