Stacking the Shelves (#92)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, September 21st to Saturday, September 27th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

Both from Little, Brown UK! Interesting how a UK pub is now sending me books. I won't complain! I love Hoyt's books - I love historical romance novels in general!

Zodiac postcards

I literally JUST traded a book for an ARC of Zodiac... and then Penguin decides to surprise me with this package. I'm so not complaining though! That just means GIVEAWAY!

From NetGalley:

Funny how I always say that I'm not a fan of samplers, but now I have three samplers of various novels... haha.

From the Baltimore Book Festival:

See my recap HERE! But I went to the Baltimore Book Festival on Friday, and had a blast! I met Jennifer L. Armentrout (again), Marissa Meyer, Cheryl Klam, Diana Peterfreund (again), and many bloggers! I have a giveaway! But here are the books I came back with:

An ARC of Etherworld by Claudia Gabel and Cheryl Klam (OMG CHERYL BROUGHT THIS WITH HER SPECIFICALLY FOR ME OMG!!!)

Etherworld was the only book that I really "brought back", since it was the only one I didn't have going into the festival. Cheryl is such a sweetie, and brought the book with her, specifically for me! Thank you so much, Cheryl!!

See the full recap HERE! The Festival was sooo much fun. I won't be attending Saturday (the blogger panel and blogger dinner) or Sunday, unfortunately. But Friday was AMAZING, as it is every year!

  15. I stopped myself from requesting Ensnared since it'll just make me want to read the whole thing now, haha. This is why I stay away from samplers.

    1. LOL yeah... That's exactly why I don't read samplers. Except now I have three. LOL

  17. Awww, it looks like you had such a good time! I wish we had something like this near me! I think you secretly like samplers. :) It's so hard to start reading a book and not be able to read the whole thing, especially when it's something you want SO BADLY. Oh wellsies. :)

I hope you're having a wonderful week, Alyssa!!

    1. I secretly/not-so-secretly hate samplers... thanks, Rachel!

  18. Haha, it's totally because publishers are sticking up samplers of the most exciting books instead of just not putting up anything for those ;-). Oo I wonder if that's what my Penguin package on Monday will contain, that would be exciting :D

Also, this an award and tag free blog. While I am flattered that you would think of me, I really do not have the time to follow up. Thank you!
