Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, December 30th to Saturday, January 5th?

A paperback copy of Heart Waves by Danielle Sibarium (review copy for the upcoming tour)
A hardcover copy of Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr (from Fiktshun)
A paperback copy of Little Bee by Chris Cleave (part 1 of my friend's mystery bookish surprise for me)

  26. OKAY!! I twill not comment on any book except The Carnival of Souls because we all know the other books are awesome and I have a funny story about The Carnival of Souls! (I love ranodmly telling people about my personal life)

So, I saw it at my library, and I was going to get it, but I remembered that Melissa Marr confuses me, so then I didn't get it.

But she DOESN'T really confuse me. Only slightly. And that's on the rarest occasions. Then again, I'm a REALLY stupid person, so I get confused easily. That may be it. Yeah....

    But enjoy your books!

That wasn't really a funny story.

I use the word "but" a lot.

    And the enter key.

    And the word "and."

Basically any transition word that isn't above my intellectual level.

    1. OH EILEEN :D

I understand about Melissa Marr and confusion. I read Ink Exchange a reallyyy long time ago. Or it could have been Wicked Lovely. Either way, I was lost, and weirded out, and I didn't really like it. I haven't tried a Melissa Marr book since, and that's probably the reason why I've checked Carnival of Souls out of my public library for the past three months, and have yet to read. I will now though! I have to, since I own it now lol.

And I love your use of "but". And the enter key. And "and". NEVER CHANGE :)
