"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week, I'm featuring:
Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
Book Three of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before series
Publisher: Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers
Publication Date: April 4, 2017
Summary (from Goodreads):
Lara Jean’s letter-writing days aren’t over in this surprise follow-up to the New York Times bestselling To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You.
Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding.
But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind.
When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?
"Surprise follow-up" - yeah okay. I knew there had to be a book to follow P.S. I Still Love You! That ending was SO abrupt! I'm a little worried but definitely excited to see where the story goes (even if it looks like my heart will be broken). =)
I hope you really enjoy this one when you get a chance! I haven't read the series yet but I've heard food things. :)ReplyDelete
Thank you, Di! =)Delete
Nice pick! Totally new to me! Not really my kind of read but I hope you thoroughly enjoy it once you read it!ReplyDelete
Here's my WoW
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I hope so too! Thank you, Jessica. ^_^Delete
I've read so many great things about these books. I know I'll have to try the first one soon. Great pick!ReplyDelete
I really REALLY loved book one! Book two was pretty good, but I'm hoping book three is better. ;)Delete
Glad to hear there's a follow up especially if there was an abrupt ending. I've got this series on my TBR. It looks adorable! Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete
Yes! The ending of book two seemed way too quick! I remember seeing others react this way as well. You're welcome, Cyn!Delete
I haven't read anything by this author before. I hope you enjoy reading this book.ReplyDelete
I've never read anything by Jenny Han before but I always love the covers of her books. ^_^ReplyDelete
Me too! These three are gorgeous!Delete
I still need to read book 2, but seems that my waiting to read it it's gonna be the right choice! ;)ReplyDelete
Girl, get on that! Though binge-reading the two is a good idea. Book two tied me in knots!Delete
I cannot wait for this! Even though my ship didn't sail in book 2, I am here for more Kitty!! ♥ReplyDelete
I haven't read anything by this author yet, but the books seem to be popular. Hope you get a hold of it soon.ReplyDelete
Check out my WOW
Thank you, Lisa!Delete
Ah! Me too! Looking forward to this one. Even though the last sequel didn't sit so well with me (I'm team John Ambrose McClaren. Sorry Peter!), I'd still love to read this one. It's Jenna Han after all. :)ReplyDelete
Awww, I'm sorry! I was never a big fan of his (nothing wrong with him though!), so I was happy with the ending of book two. :D I hope you like book three better, Erika!Delete
Hope you get to read this book soon! It looks interesting :) I'll look out for the previous ones in the series and give it a go.ReplyDelete
I hope so! I definitely need to preorder it. ^_^Delete
I'm looking forward to this one too, even though I haven't read the first two books! Just because a) it's Jenny Han and b)more aesthetic and attractive covers! ^_^ReplyDelete
No shame in that! Binge-reading this series is a great idea. And the covers are SO gorgeous, especially in person!Delete
I have the first book to this series sitting on my shelf, maybe once this one comes out I'll marathon the series! :)ReplyDelete
Have a great week!
My WOW post...
That's a winning idea! The ending of two was rather abrupt so it might not bother you at all if you binge-read the series. :D Thanks, Miranda!Delete
I've not read this author but you sound like you're having a great time with these books. Hope you enjoy this one too.ReplyDelete
It's a wonderful, touching series! Thank you, Lynn. <3Delete
I haven't read this series but I see it everywhere and I heard it's great! I've been really into contemporary lately so I might have to go pick it up :) I'm excited that there's another book for you all to read, especially if the last ending was so abrupt!ReplyDelete
This is definitely a series for you, if you've been enjoying contemporary! Binge-reading the series is a good idea. ;)Delete
I still need to read book 2, but I'm not sure if I will. I liked the first, but didn't really loved it... or I don't remember...ReplyDelete
I hope you do LOVE it when you get the chance to read it!
I know how you feel - sometimes, it's better to immortalize the first book and be done with the series. :D Thank you, Lis!Delete
I don't think I can handle my excitement. I'm team Peter all the way (but I do love John!!) and I am almost 100% positive I'll cry. I'm glad to see that Margot is coming back. For some reason I want her with Josh, even though they have both moved on. It was so bittersweet to read about how Lara and Josh weren't good friends anymore in P.S. I Still Love You. This is going to be amazing!ReplyDelete
Yaaaassss! Peter K. for the win! I did want to see some sort of resolution between Margot and Josh... hopefully we get that. =)Delete
STILL laughing that we had the same one for this week's WoW! Too funny! and is it weird if i say my next cat I'm totally naming Lara Jean? Cause i am! LOL.ReplyDelete
Emily @ www.rabbitholereviews.com
I love it when that happens! Dude you should totally name your cat Lara Jean. It's a great name!Delete
I still need to try this series. I always hear such good things about it and I'm pretty sure I've only seen positive reviews. I hope you love this one Alyssa!ReplyDelete
It's such a great contemporary series! And you know how I usually feel about YA contemporary.Delete
Thank you, Erin!
Ack, not books for me, haha :D But they look so so pretty. <3 Lovely pick sweetie :) Crossing my fingers that you will love it :) And that it won't be too heartbreaking, lol.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Carina! I hope it won't be too heartbreaking... you might see me complain!Delete
