ReplyDeleteI would definitely say Goodreads, it's the best way for me to find new book or Waiting on Wednesday Posts :)
ReplyDeleteMostly on goodreads, but sometimes I found a website that mention a list of debut authors, like the publisher’s site or book clubs’ site. I’m constantly checking epic reads site for new author thou and giselle @booknerd.ca really helps with list of new releases.
ReplyDeletehope it’s help :)
I tend to find new books and authors through Twitter, blogs and Goodreads. :D
ReplyDeleteI find them through literary podcasts such as book riot :)
ReplyDeleteI discover most new releases in YouTube videos and blog posts. Goodreads newsletters are also great to learn about upcoming releases.
ReplyDeleteI find them mostly through Goodreads, and blogs.
ReplyDeleteI usually find them through goodreads and if I really like them, i visit the author's website and subscribe to their newsletter
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun giveaway!! I find most of the new releases that I want to read through Waiting on Wednesday posts and through publishers/authors and their upcoming catalogs. Thanks for the giveaway! :)
ReplyDeleteAll of my emails, like the blogs I follow, websites like goodreads. I wait for them at the beginning of each month to find out the new releases coming out!!
ReplyDeleteMore often than not, I discover debuts through Twitter (authors/agents/bloggers post PM announcements) or Goodreads, when I see bloggers I follow add debuts to their shelves.
ReplyDeleteThe Carson book is so pretty!
ReplyDeletejust browsing the books stores
ReplyDeleteI mostly use Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteI find Twitter and Goodreads the most helpful. Goodreads has release lists. And Twitter is through word of mouth. Some bloggers on Twitter actively share books. Rachel @ A Perfection Called Books is really helpful :D
ReplyDeleteAwesome Giveaway!! :D
ReplyDeleteI discover them through other authors or blogs that I follow. Sometimes in my local book store. :)
ReplyDeleteI use contests to try out new authors. It also helps me pick stories that I typically wouldn't pick up in a store. I like the quick fire questions interviews. I read bloggers posts and tend to pay attention to bloggers that typically like the same books I do. Goodreads is useful but I don't really go there first and don't rely solely on it.
ReplyDeleteGoodreads is my first stop for recommended reads, but mostly people reach out to me via email.
ReplyDeleteI usually look at Barnes & Noble and then I also look at blogs and author tweets.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is a YA blogger, so I read a lot of her books. We attend book conventions (BookCon and BEA every year), and I use Kindle Unlimited, which allows me to try a lot of new authors. I follow a lot of blogs too
ReplyDeleteUsually from Goodreads newsletter, but mostly from book bloggers as well :D I also receive emails from Amazon when an author I'm following releases a new book :)
ReplyDeleteLike many, I just love to browse Goodreads. I've found so many great books that I wouldn't have picked up otherwise! Other bloggers/booktubers help a lot with recommendations and news of debut books.
ReplyDeleteBloggers and Goodreads are my two places for new books!
ReplyDeleteThrough blogs. Usually giveaway hops.
ReplyDeleteI browse NetGalley, Edelweiss and Goodreads. Waiting on Wednesday is also a good way to discover books.
ReplyDeleteI usually find new books either on book blogs or on good reads or sometimes a friend will mention a book.
ReplyDeleteMy top places are netgalley, goodreads, and blogs. Mostly in that order. Thanks so much for the chance. :)
ReplyDeleteJoined only recently, but I love your reviews! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI tend to find them through twitter and goodreads, though NG and EW are also a good place to look. Thanks for the giveaway :)
ReplyDeleteFacebook pages of bloggers are my main source of information, also receiving emails from bloggers keeps me updated. I use to check Goodreads a lot, but not so much any more!

ReplyDeleteI usually use Goodreads and Twitter to find new books and authors :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteGoodreads is my basically my go to, i put a lot of store into their recommendations. But i've noticed recently i am more likely to look into a book if i've seen it somewhere else before, adds, reviews (even if i havn't read the review and only seen the picture on a blog). I also look for blogs that have similar favorites as i do and see if there are any of their favourites i've not read so i can try them out. And if a new book has become available on audible or in bookstores and i like the cover I'm likely to look into it.
ReplyDelete9 times out of 10, I see a fantastic looking/sounding book at the library and decide to give it a go! Goodreads is also one of the best tools on the internet for learing about new books and authors. I check it out on a daily basis!
ReplyDeleteI find them all over the place: Netgalley, Blogs, randomly browsing books.
ReplyDeleteI use GoodReads and book blogs to find new releases or discover new authors. (Also I found new favourite on TUMBLR.)
ReplyDeleteI search blogs & websites, Goodreads, LibraryThing, BookLikes. But blogs beats them all ! Thanks, Darlene Cruz (Read Book)
ReplyDeleteI discover new books and authors through blogs.
ReplyDeleteI usually go to listopia on Goodreads to check out new releases. :)
ReplyDeleteMostly through Goodreads and twitter profiles of book reviewers.

ReplyDeleteUsually via Pinterest, Blogs and Twitter :) Thanks for the amazing giveaway ^^
ReplyDeleteI usually see them on Twitter!
ReplyDeleteI follow Epic Reads on a lot of social media, and they do a really good job of promoting debut authors. Other publishing companies do a pretty good job too, but I think that Epic Reads is the best. Also, Kirkus Reviews is a really good place to look.
ReplyDeleteUsually through FB blogs...
ReplyDeleteI see everything through twitter. Everyone's blowing up the feed with books and I'm like, "HOLD ON I DON'T KNOW ANY OF THESE SLOW DOWN AAHH"
ReplyDeletePretty much the only place I find out about new books/authors is through blogs. Honestly I love book blogs, they're what got me in to reading again, especially since there are no bookstores where I live anymore.
ReplyDeleteMostly im looking in goodreads and instagram. 😊

ReplyDeleteI mostly learn about debut authors and books from twitter... also Cuddlebuggery is a good resource, along with Reader of Fiction's Cover Snark (LOVE looking at the covers of soon-to-be published books and a lot of them are debuts!) And, of course, Goodreads! Thank you for the amazing giveaway Alyssa :)
ReplyDeleteI usually go browse in bookstores, but I also check Goodreads and blogs often too
ReplyDeleteI try to discover new releases through lists on Goodreads. You can check debut lists long before the month arrives and it's a great opportunity to see the hot books ahead of time. I'm also subscribed to uppercase, a book box that sends me a new release every month. It's a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteI always look through the the New Releases per month on Goodreads lists and then I read the description of the book - I'm not really helpful because I rarely look at the publisher/look if it's a debut unless it is stated in the synopsis...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your presentation! :)
I always use Goodreads lists for new releases and debuts :)
ReplyDeleteI rely on Goodreads and my favorite book blogs :)
ReplyDeleteI usually check goodreads and follow some blogs that post the weekly releases! ;)

I find a lot of new books through other blogs, especially from the Waiting on a Wednesday meme. Believe it or not, Pinterest is another great source if you search for people's upcoming books boards.
ReplyDeleteAlways Goodreads, although there are some blogs, like My Friends are Fiction, who post about debut authors.

Goodreads and twitter never fail to deliver great recommendations!
ReplyDeleteI also keep an eye on what my favourite authors are reading. I've found a few books I've loved but might not necessarily have picked up on my own, that way.
