This week, my swoon is from Bright Smoke, Cold Fire by Rosamund Hodge!
It's barely a kiss that she presses to his lips, the moment is so soft and shy. It's barely a kiss that he presses back. But then she kisses him again, and again, and she knows this: the shape of his mouth, the push of his breath. She knows the way his hands shift across her back, cup her shoulder blades, and dig in.
She is not afraid anymore.
Catch my review tomorrow (hopefully)! I haven't finished yet, but I can already feel the ending creeping up on me. This is a Romeo and Juliet retelling!
Oh nice! I love that his hands are roaming, trying to know her everywhere!ReplyDelete

I have this on my TBR (and to buy lol)!! And Eeek! I want to read it so badly! I need to know more about that kiss! I can't wait for your review!ReplyDelete

Oh nice. I hadn't heard of this book yet but now I'm interestedReplyDelete
I love this little swoon worthy excerpt! I'm a big fan of a HEA so I'm not sure I'd like this one being it's a Romeo & Juliet retelling. I'll be anxiously awaiting your review. :)ReplyDelete
Have a great day!

There is a book two though! I have a feeling that this book will end... roughly. But there is another book to follow, so I'm crossing my fingers for better things. ;) Thank you!Delete

Eee, I do like this swoon. <3 I have an ARC of this one. I'm nervous. As I'm never ever reading her second book, haha :D But I loved her first. Just. Yeah. Nervous :) But so curious.ReplyDelete
Her first book was SO good! Smart move in not reading Crimson Bound (blech). I hope you like this one, Carina!Delete
