Stacking the Shelves (#117)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, March 15th to Saturday, March 21st?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

Thank you, Penguin!

I've never heard of this one... does anyone want to read it?

I LOVED this book! I've read it, I have the ARC, and I got this via trade to have a matching set!

From NetGalley:

Whoop whoop! I loved Stolen Songbird!

From Edelweiss:

A new series by McGarry... hopefully it's good!

From Amazon:

$0.99 sale! I loved It Started With A Scandal.

Errr... well... sale?

Wellllll... this is one of Racquel's favorites, and it was on sale... hehe

Avon has a bajillion romance novels on sale! Some of my favorites of all time. Go check it out! And for a list of historical romance novels on sale - HERE!

So I had the surgery on Monday! Everything went well, and the recovery has been successful, so far. I had the followup appointment on Friday, and my surgeon says I'm healing well, despite still being in a lot of pain.

This week has been rough, but hey, it's just spring break, right? -_- In any case, I'm so thankful for no infections. But I miss FOOD! Chocolate! I won't be back to solid foods for a while. BUT. Everything has been going well, and I'll be back in school on Monday!

    1. YAY! It's really great! I only recently read it myself, honestly. But succumbing to peer pressure is a good thing, sometimes!

      Thank you!

  2. Great news that your surgery and recovery are going well! Chocolate deprivation is the worst.

Wowsers! Nice haul this week. Julie Ann Long's books look enticing. I haven't read one yet, but I have one that was gifted to me when I get around to it.

  5. YAY for the surgery going well and you recovering! No eating chocolate sounds like the most horrible thing ever, but at least you can drink some hot chocolate!
Hooray for books on sale and for the Kindle so no worries about them taking space! ;)
And a big YAY for Hidden Huntress! I'm having the hardest time not ignoring the rest of my ARCs and reading that one!!

  14. Oh, OUCH! I am happy you can put that experience behind you and get healed up. Thank goodness for nice cold ice cream. Not the greatest way to spend spring break, so I am sending you lots of hugs. You hauled in a big pile of books. The bare chested guy books you young ones love make me chuckle. When I was in my 20s I read a series of books about naughty airline stewardesses. That is how long ago it was that that were still called a stewardess. Lol.

    1. Four wisdom teeth, actually. And I have been eating ice cream every night! It's actually the only thing I've managed to it, besides soup. I think I've lost weight - weight I can't afford to lose O_O

And you should definitely check out some of JAL's historical romance novels! I recommend her upcoming release, It Started With a Scandal :)

      Thank you so much! <3

  27. Hope you get to feeling better soon. So glad I haven't had to deal with that wisdom tooth problem. I only had my upper two, and one wasn't ever going to be a problem, so I didn't have to worry about it. I haven't heard of a few of your books, but I'll be going to Goodreads to check them out soon! Great haul!
