Your Blogging/Bookish Life:

1. New favorite book blog you discovered in 2017?

There were quite a few! Lauren's Crammed Bookshelf makes the cut.

2. Favorite review that you wrote in 2017?

6. Most challenging thing about blogging or your reading life this year?

My reading level significantly dropped since graduating from college in May. I've been busy with working full-time and it's honestly more draining and time-consuming than I thought it would be. I have a window of about four hours when I come home from work, in which I can do stuff... mostly I just want to sleep.

7. Most Popular Post This Year On Your Blog (whether it be by comments or views)?

By pageviews -- my January giveaway!

8. Post You Wished Got A Little More Love?

9. Best bookish discover (book related sites, book stores, etc.)?

I went to the The Ivy Bookshop for the first time this year! It's a little out of my way but I've been back several times since then. =)

10.  Did you complete any reading challenges or goals that you had set for yourself at the beginning of this year?

I only had one official goal which was 150 books, and I will be meeting that goal!

3. 2018 Debut You Are Most Anticipating?

I honestly am not looking forward to many debuts in 2018! Likely because I don't know of many. But I'm extremely excited about Beyond a Darkened Shore by Jessica Leake, which I have from Harper/Edelweiss!

 4. Series Ending/A Sequel You Are Most Anticipating in 2018?

Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton (which I have!). Smoke in the Sun by Renee Ahdieh (which I do not have).

5. One Thing You Hope To Accomplish Or Do In Your Reading/Blogging Life In 2018?

Be more active on Instagram! I created on in July and it started off well and now I'm just lazy.

  1. Nice And Very useful info, used to really good
Keep it up and thanks to the writer.

  2. Whew! I'd have to really think about some of those for my own responses. Neat getting your answers and seeing what you loved and had some not so love for.

  3. I would have a hard time answering all of those. It is hard to pick favorites. You have had a lot of change this year with graduating and starting a new job. You have really accomplished a lot! Lot of great books read this year!

  4. Great review! I see Letters to the Lost mentioned a lot I have to check that one out. Also, congrats again on all of the pageviews that is super exciting!

  5. Gosh, this post was awesome :D Thank you so much for sharing Alyssa. <3 Loved reading this list of yours. Sigh. I could never complete it myself, haha :D But loved reading all of the books you included. <3 I still need to read a bunch of them.. ugh. One day :D

  6. I always love these end of the year surveys. I hope I have some time to do one myself.

  7. I love doing these surveys and seeing other's survey's even more!!! I just love seeing all the books you read, the books you loved and didn't love. I adored Beautiful Lawman as well, it was pretty amazing. So different from the other books, it just pulled me in more. And the bantering was awesome, very classy Sophie Jordan that I have missed lately.

Hope 2018 is a wonderful year for you.

  8. Thanks so much for the shoutout, Alyssa!! I'm so honored to have been mentioned :) Seeing the number of times you mentioned Devils & Thieves makes me want to read it even more. I keep waiting for my library to get it, but I might just need to cave and buy a copy already. Wesley James Ruined My Life also looks adorable - I need to get to that one in 2018 as well.

  9. Ohh you mention Letter to the Lost alot! That is one I so need to read. Everyone seems to love it and it has an amazing cover. Also I am so looking forward to Heart of Iron and the Meet Cute anthology!

  10. I forgot that Fallen Kingdom ended; I loved that series!

  11. Heeeeeey!! Long time no chat, but I'm getting back into the swing of blog commenting. And what better way to start than with an end of the year survey? I feel the same way about An Enchantment of Ravens, I wasn't expecting it to be so dang good! I was pleasantly surprised by Isobel and Rook's romance. I can't wait to read Devils and Thieves, I've heard so many good things about it! Black Bird of the Gallows sounds cool too. So many romantic YA urban fantasy books to read! :)

  12. I keep seeing good things about Letters to the Lost, might have to check it out! I'm also interested in An Enchantment of Ravens -- I'm curious to see what I think of it because I've seen it getting such different reactions.

I love comments! I will always try and reply to your comments, as well as leave some comment love on your blog! :)

Also, this an award and tag free blog. While I am flattered that you would think of me, I really do not have the time to follow up. Thank you!
