Top Ten Tuesday (28)

Happy Tuesday! Today I've decided to participate in Top Ten Tuesday, formerly hosted by Jamie at The Broke and the Bookish, now hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl.

Today's topic is:

This is a list of well-written villains - not necessarily villainous people that I liked. I simply admire how much depth the villains had. Check it out!

1. The Darkling (from the Grishaverse trilogy)

Shadow and Bone (Grisha Verse, #1)

2. The Commandant (from An Ember in the Ashes quartet)

An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes, #1)

3. Leck (from Graceling)

Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1)

4. Dorwan (from Brightly Woven)

Brightly Woven

5. LeBlanc (from Rook by Sharon Cameron)

6. Lonnrach (from The Vanishing Throne)

The Vanishing Throne (The Falconer, #2)

7. Minya (from Strange the Dreamer)

Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1)

8. The Herja (from Sky in the Deep)
(A collective villain)

9. Olivia (from Avenged)

10. The Sultan (from Rebel of the Sands)

  1. I'm all for a well-developed villain, too. Love to hate ones are great.

  2. Ooh nice picks! I have two of these on my list as well! Seeing a lot of one of them too!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower :)

  3. I do love a well written villain. I really need to read Strange the Dreamer soon.

  4. The Darkling is my favorite. Obviously. :)

  5. I forgot about Leck - hated! And Olivia was so off her rocker!

  6. Minya, the Commandant, and Darkling made mine. I didn't even think of the Sultan though he is a great one.

  7. Ahhh! All the villains! Gosh. Leck from the Graceling books was the worst villain in the world! He was TONS worse in Bitterblue, though he was dead. Ahhh. Have you read it yet? Hmm? Haha :D YOU MUST. And ahh. The Darkling. I hated him beyond words. And I still get so full of rage everytime I see people love him, hahahaha :D

I love comments! I will always try and reply to your comments, as well as leave some comment love on your blog! :)

Also, this an award and tag free blog. While I am flattered that you would think of me, I really do not have the time to follow up. Thank you!
