ReplyDeleteI'm going to say Night and Silence (Seanan McGuire) and Magic Triumphs (Ilona Andrews), because I think those tho series have a lot of things people love (friendships, found family, character development, gerat worldbuilding, amazing female characters, etc) but they don't get talked about enough, in my opinion.
ReplyDelete"What was an underrated/not hyped book that published in 2018 that you LOVED?" Hmm, I'm enjoying "An Improbable Pairing" by Gary Dickson. There are some minor word choice/phrase choice mistakes, but it's a good yarn. It's basically a romance, with a young American and a glamorous older European, circa 1960.
ReplyDeleteAmerican Panda was my favorite book in 2018 and needs more readers.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd pick Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry.
ReplyDeleteI wasnt able to buy a whole lot of new books and just re-read a whole lot that I had again. I did really like Select few though, but I saw it posted all over instagram , so it had a lot of hype
ReplyDeleteI feel like A Very Large Expanse of Sea didn't get all the hype it deserved.
ReplyDeleteMurder Feels Crazy by Bill Alive
ReplyDeleteRuthless Magic by Megan Crewe. I LOVED that book! It's so amazing!
ReplyDeleteThere are a few that I loved - Onyx and Ivory by Mindee Arnett, Contagion by Erin Bowman, As She Ascends by Jodi Meadows and Far From the Tree by Robin Benway.
ReplyDeleteI loved the book that they based Queen Sugar the show off!
ReplyDeleteWords We Don't Say by K.J. Reilly was really good!
