Feature and Follow Friday (#10)

The Feature & Follow is a creative meme that allows bloggers to get to know each other, and gain more followers! It is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read.

If you would like, it would be great if you followed me via Email, GFC, Linky, or Google+ (all on the right). Let me know in the comments if you did, leave a link to your blog, and I will comment and follow back! I always do, I promise! Thank you so much!

Q: Activity! Hopefully warm weather for most of us is here soon…so tell us about your favorite outdoor reading spot. Or take a picture.

It isn't warm in Maryland right now, but it will be in a few weeks. YAY spring! I don't have a picture right now, but I love reading in the shaded part of the deck in my backyard. I am totally a nature person, so I like being surrounded by plants and flowers and whatnot. There are several trees around, a few bushes, and various gardens that my mother and I like to tend. So, everything is usually really calm and serene and SUNNY when I go to read on the deck. Not right now though. It's like, thirty degrees Fahrenheit over here. *shivers*

So, what about you? Where do you like to read?

  2. Your garden reading spot sounds peaceful. I'm an indoors reader, but one day, maybe I'll have a sweet little garden of my own and I'll crack open a book there. New GFC follower here (then I remembered the fate of GFC so I Linky followed). This is my FF.

  3. Sounds nice! It gets too hot in the midwest for reading outdoors. Spring time is usually dangerous since I live in tornado alley so I don't read outdoors really.

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  5. Great answer! I'm not a nature lover & get pretty irritated with all those bugs in the summer. I do love flowers and plants! :)

  6. That sounds like a great reading spot! I don't like to read anywhere nea flowers, bt that's because I can't stand bees ad they distract me from reading.

  7. I like to read in my room while sitting on my bed. And in the winter, sitting under the covers. Oddly enough, it's also the way I like to study as well.

    1. I used to do that, but now when I read indoors, it must be on the floor. Same with studying :D

    1. Icky bugs. When they're in your book, you can't squish them! Thank YOU, Roxanne!

    2. Ha, one time I got a library book and found a bug squished in the pages! Since it was a good book my only option was to quickly read the pages then forget it was even there...
