An ARC of Death Sworn by Leah Cypress

OMG! I HAD NO IDEA I WAS GETTING THIS ONE! I mean, I asked, but I had no idea that Greenwillow would send it to me. IT'S MY FIRST ARC SENT DIRECTLY FROM HARPER COLLINS! Not a giveaway win, or anything! Thank you, Leah and Harper!

A finished copy of Antigoddess by Kendare Blake, a feather bookmark

Thank you, Tor! I knew I was getting a copy, but I was expecting an ARC. When I never got an ARC, I figured it was a lost cause. But I am totally okay with a finished copy!

It's New Adult, and it's by Sophie Jordan (I didn't kike her Firelight series), but I'm willing to give it a shot!


I'M AT HOPKINS! I've moved in! So, I probably have mail from Thursday, Friday, and Saturday that I haven't seen yet. But YAY!

Here is a side-view of SOME of my space in my room that I share with my roommate. It's a HUGE room, bigger than most college rooms.

      I love the cover! And yeah - I don't think anyone except the authors and pubs have ARCs! It helps when you ask ;)

    That IS a lot of space. Does your desk double as a separator? That would be convenient.

      YES! My desk and dresser and my roommate's desk and dresser are back-to-back, in the middle of the room. So, I'm in the back of the room, and she's in the front by the door.

    Your dorm is definitely bigger than the one I was in! I had to loft my bed for extra space :) I absolutely love the cover for Death Sworn. I'm going to go look it up bc it's so pretty. Great haul!

    Omg congrats on your first Harper ARC! I got my first Harper ARC like last year and I literally like almost started crying it was an interesting moment in my life ;D I'm super jealous of Antigoddess! I wanted to get a copy at BEA but I didn't make the line >.<

      I emailed Tor for an ARC of Antigoddess, but they said they probably wouldn't have any more ARCs (this was months ago). I was super surprised about the finished copy!

    HA! I beat you this week! (That might be because I procrastinating reading the play I'm supposed to be reading... Maybe...)

    But AH! What a great week! Anyone who sends chocolate is a winner in my book. And I'm absolutely dying to read Antigoddess after the creepy marvel that was Anna Dressed in Blood! I haven't heard of Death Sworn, but I'll be looking it up in a moment (more procrastinating...)

    And yay college! What day do you start? (I'm just going to totally creep on your entire college career, be warned.)

      I AGREE! Anna is so cool. I haven't read anything by Kendare Blake, so Antigoddess will be my first book. Death Sworn is an upcoming Harper book! LOOK IT UP!

    you're lucky about your new room. i'm living in student housing at my university and my room is teeny tiny. they haven't assigned me a roommate yet and i'm hoping they won't because if they did, we'd be living like sardines.

    AWESOME books! i've been wanting to read antigoddess since i really enjoyed blake's anna dressed in blood.

    You will be getting mail from me this week! I meant to send it out last week, but got sick and then went to GA for the book festival. Getting the package today and sending it tomorrow afternoon. :D I love the look of the dorm! It's cute from what I can see! As for books- I also have Finding It and Foreplay- I hope they are good!
