Stacking the Shelves (#34)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, August 11th to Saturday, August 17th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

I didn't request that one, but it sounds cool. I'll give it a whirl... eventually.

I believe I was one of the first bloggers to read this one! It's a great fantasy read. I love the new cover.

Ahh, the sequel! Thank you, Bailey, for both of the books! <3

A paperback copy of Gold by Talia Vance

THANK YOU, AMAZON, FOR SHIPPING AN ORDER I PLACED IN LIKE, JUNE. But anyway. I've read and reviewed all three of those books... they're all awesome and totally worth reading and buying! Two are sequels though.

From NetGalley:

I haven't read the first two O_O But, I was invited to read it. I'll see what I can do.

I love this series! I can't wait to read this one.

From Edelweiss:

Already read this one and really liked it! Bring on book two!

You know me and historical romance books...

Teehee! Same deal ;)

For My Kindle:

I love Jeri's books, and I can't believe I didn't already have a Kindle copy of Bridge! Well, it was free.

Lazy Alyssa didn't feel like taking pictures of the mailed packages... sorry!

  1. WOOOO! I'm first to comment this time around!! YESS! *dances* LOL! OK.. back to the books. I got Everything for Us and A Little Too Far too!! I was screaming my head off when I got invited to read Everything For Us because I love that series so hard. But for warning, the formatting on that eARC is SHIT. Just horrible. *sigh* The Social Code looks pretty cute. Not sure what it's about so I'm going to look that one up on GR. I totes know you love your historical romance books and see that you got two! YAAAAAY! Your historical romance to my contemporary romance <3 And you got the Mephisto Mark!! Super awesome. I have the second book (I don't even remember the title to be honest) but I have yet to read it!

Sooo, I hope you love these books you got (if you haven't already read them since your like a reading machine!) Have a grrrrrreat weekend! *tackle hugs* *runs away* wooooooosh.

I haven't read any of the Bad Boys series, but I guess I'll read them out of order. A Little Too Far is REALLY good. I've actually never heard of The Social Code. And YES! Historical romance for the win! LOL! Trinity's books are fab ;)

Awww, thank you! I won't be machine-reading in a few weeks, thanks to school, but I'll be trying! Thank you so much for this awesome comment, Jessirae! *huggles* <3

  4. All your historical romance books look like a lot of fun! But I think the one I'm most interested in, is probably The Mephisto Mark.

  12. I really want to read A Little Too Far, so the fact that you read it and liked it hopefully means I will too!! A while ago Peyton read other Sadie Hayes books and thought they were all right, but I'm not sure that she read The Social Code. Happy reading!!!

    1. I hope so! It was a great read - not too steamy, like most NA contemporary romance books.I haven't read any of Sadie's books, but I suppose I'll start with this one. Thank you! <3

I also got Everything For Us, but haven't read the first two. I plan to before I do a feature with InkSlinger on it though. Enjoy all your new books chica!

  17. Amazon is sneaky that way - if you choose "ship all books together" and one of your books doesn't come out right away, you wait forever :(
But looks like you have plenty to read!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Jen @ YA Romantics

    1. I think that's what I did - group in the fewest shipments possible or something. Those books are actually from TWO separate orders, but Amazon wised up and group those books together. I'm waiting on three more lol. Thank you, Jen!

  18. Yay! You're welcome! So glad they made it to you safely! I cannot wait for your review of Sweet Escape - I hope you like it. Happy reading! =) <3
