Hi Alyssa! I wanted to say that I have been reading your reviews...and I absolutely LOVE them!!! You have quickly become my favorite blogger. I just love everything about your reviews - the way you describe the book, your likes and dislikes, why you gave it the amount of 'stars'; just perfect!Anyway...just wanted to share my thoughts with you! Please don't ever stop! <3
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! Not many people say this in so many words! I am so honored - especially since I have not been blogging for very long. I hope I can keep up my blogging spirit - comments like this one make blogging SO worth it! And make me squeal :DI will always do my very best! Thank you!!! :)
Alyssa, I've been meaning to thank you for years now since subscribing to your blog. I read your blog daily and look forward to all your book reviews. Almost all of the books I read are usually from your reviews and I thank you for keeping me up to date on the newest YA books and keeping my To-Read list always stocked up! I'm a teacher and far from the YA age range of readers but I truly love reading this genre and have good recommendations for my students. I so so appreciate all that you do keeping up with your reading along with blogging and going to school! It's not an easy juggle so I commend you for all that you do! Have a joyous and peace-filled Christmas season! I have been blessed by your blog!Keep up the great work. God bless!
Hello and THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are so kind and wonderful - thank you for all the sweet words and encouragement. I'm honored to have helped in any way, big or small, and to have an impact on a classroom! I love reading and blogging and even the struggle that comes with it. *I* am blessed to have fantastic blog readers like YOU! Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and God bless you in the New Year! <3
Alyssa, Have you read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon? Just curious on what your thoughts are on it since it's a popular historical fiction and romance series. And I know you're a big fan of that theme. I have not read it but know there's a TV series on it and the books seems to have great reviews. Happy Valentine's Day! Know you are appreciated for all you do in keeping us up to to date on the newest reads! Cezanne
You know, it's so bad that I hadn't even heard of the series until the previews for the show had first started rolling around. I want to try the series but part of me is a little intimidated by the books' lengths. :D So we shall see!Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Cezanne! You are the sweetest! Thank you so much. <333 Happy reading!
Hi Alyssa.. I keep forgetting to check this part of your blog for your responses.. :) You're so quick to comment on my comment. WOW... I did not realize how long those Outlander books are. I too would rethink how to use my time especially with a long list of books on my TBR pile. I was wondering about UK edition books. You mentioned this on a few blogs. I'd rather purchase the paperback version of a book than a hardcover (it's all about space really)and the US takes forever to release their paperback versions but I noticed that abroad (out of US) the book is usually a paperback. Where can I purchase these without having to spend and arm and a leg? Thanks for your help!
No problem! I recommend The Book Depository! They usually carry many foreign editions of books, especially UK. Shipping is free, and generally the book prices are less than the full price. :)
THANK YOU! Looks like i'm doing some major book shopping!!
Yay! Enjoy! :D
I love comments! I will always try and reply to your comments, as well as leave some comment love on your blog! :)Also, this an award and tag free blog. While I am flattered that you would think of me, I really do not have the time to follow up. Thank you!
