Waiting on Wednesday (#171): Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week, I'm featuring:

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor
Book One of the Strange the Dreamer series
Publisher: Little, Brown Books for Young Readers
Publication Date: September 27, 2016

Summary (from Goodreads):

Strange the Dreamer is the story of:

the aftermath of a war between gods and men
a mysterious city stripped of its name
a mythic hero with blood on his hands
a young librarian with a singular dream
a girl every bit as perilous as she is imperiled
alchemy and blood candy, nightmares and godspawn, moths and monsters, friendship and treachery, love and carnage.

Welcome to Weep.

I adored Laini's Smoke & Bone series! This new book has been a long time coming. :)

  20. Ohh great pick Alyssa! I absolutely love the cover it is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't read any books by Laini Taylor yet I know what am I waiting for. I heard nothing but amazing raving reviews about her Daughter of Smoke & Bone Trilogy. I won't lie I really want to read The Daughter of Smoke & Bone Trilogy but there are huge books and I am not a fan of big books there really are intimidating for me lol. But alas I might one day check them out from the library one by one and see if I like them or not. But I would like too check out Strange the Dreamer as well when it comes out hopefully it isn't a huge book as well. Ha lol Thank you for your awesome post Alyssa!
