Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!
So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, September 29th to Saturday, October 5th?
(all links to Goodreads are provided!)
In the mail:
THANK YOU, HARLEQUIN! I got this one via request, but I'm also on the blog tour for this book.
Thank you, Carolrhoda Lab! I read and enjoyed this book.
Thank you, Entangled Teen! I haven't read this one yet, but I am happy to have the chance!
What I Got Signed When I attended the Baltimore Book Festival on September 27th:
An ARC of Across A Star-Swept Sea by Diana Peterfreund (Diana was nice enough to just GIVE me an ARC - I could not believe it! Thank you, Diana!)
A paperback copy of Spirit by Brigid Kemmerer (that I bought at the Festival)
What I Got From Hannah (The Irish Banana Review) at the Baltimore Festival:
THANK YOU, HANNAH! You rock :D
From NetGalley:
For the tour... but now I have a physical ARC.
I actually haven't downloaded a historical romance novel in a while, so this was a nice change :D
Well, considering I like the previous book in this series, I thought this would be a good one to download!
Sounds good to me! I cannot wait to see the cover. We all know Disney-Hyperion has AMAZING covers ;)
From Edelweiss:
I love being auto-approved for Harlequin Teen titles!
Okay, this week SEEMS huge, but all the Baltimore Book Festival books should have been featured last week. Also, I already owned most of them - they just got signed by the authors. And some of the books I got from NetGalley should have been in last week's haul. But there it is! That's my haul post for this week :D
Wow you got so many awesome books! I'm jealous over your visit to the Baltimore Book Festival. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteTsuki’s STS
I did! And thank you - I am so happy to have went! :D
DeleteImpressive! Looks like you had a good time at the festival to get that pile signed.
ReplyDeleteI definitely had a fabulous time! So many books to carry though ;)
DeleteEveryone's getting Pawn this week!! I still haven't gotten an answer from them and I sent a request maybe 2-3 weeks ago? Took them forever to approve me for The Iron Traitor and wondering if I will be seeing a repeat of that with Pawn!
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT weekend!
Old Follower :)
I downloaded mine from Edelweiss, not NetGalley. Technically, I'm still waiting for NetGalley's approval. But hopefully, you'll get The Iron Traitor, Jessica!
DeleteEveryone seems to have Pawn on their list! I'm seeing it everywhere.
ReplyDeleteRead it!
DeleteOh I hope you had fun at the festival! It sounds like you did! Signed books galore! :D And that's awesome Diana gave you an ARC! :D I just got auto-approved by Harlequin on EW, so I picked Pawn up too!
ReplyDeleteGreat books girl! Happy reading!!
Diana is SUPER fabulous :D And cool!
DeleteSo jelly of Pawn! *grabby hands* I think I'll end up buying a copy if the reviews are good. And that event you went to sounds amazing! So many brilliant authors and books signed :D I love Brigid's books!
ReplyDeleteGet it get it get it! I mean, request it - I'm sure you'd get approved. And right?! The Festival was fantastic ^_^
DeleteI have Crash Into You, can't wait!

DeleteWant to request Far From You, but I'm going to be trying to bring down my NG/EW review haul of books. Nice selection.

Congratulations! I hope you love them as well. Thank you, Jillyn!
DeleteSo jealous about Baltimore Book Festival! :P We don't ever get such good things down hereeee. It sounds like you had a great time, getting handed ARCs and all... Don't mind my jealousy. :)
ReplyDeleteA Wounded Name is good? I have it but have yet to read it, so now I know I should. I see Everlast at my B&N every time I go and I contemplate picking it up, but I don't. I shall wait and see with your review!!
Great haul!! :)
Where is down hereeeee? And we don't either - DC gets the good stuff :\ I thought A Wounded Name was pretty good! Interesting retelling of Hamlet. I have never heard of Everlast (until now, of course), so I'll be sure to let you know, Rachel!
DeleteThank you! <3
A Wounded Name sounds really cool! I haven't read Hamlet yet, but I'm still planning to read A Wounded Name. Also, Crash Into You is amazing, I read it in just a few hours. I hope you enjoy all your books :)
ReplyDeleteI've read both and I like Hamlet, and I like A Wounded Name. I'm so glad to hear that you loved Crash Into You! Woohoo! Thank you!
DeletePawn has an interesting cover. And yes, Crash Into You grabs the attention with its splash of red -- might have to check it out. happy reading ;-)
