Meet the authors!
Alyssa: Hi, ladies! Thank you so much for joining today on my blog!
Amanda: Thanks for having us.
Alyssa: So. Describe your book in ten words. GO!
Amanda: A mystical romantic journey from the present to the past.
Alyssa: How did the idea of a music box come about? :)
Amanda: Imagining the attic, we saw different objects and both of us saw the music box as the kind of timeless artifact perfect for connecting the past to the present.
Alyssa: Is there anything about your book that you would change?
Amanda: Every time you read a book there’s something you want to change that you didn't notice before, but nothing specific comes to mind right now. We think Nikolai and Jenny’s romance is just perfect!
Alyssa: What is something that you must have when writing?
Amanda: Tea, music and candles. A little snack doesn't hurt, either.
Alyssa: What type of books do you like to read? What are you currently reading?
Amanda: We like to read the same kind of books that we write. Current reads include Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman and A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.
Alyssa: What’s your favorite distraction when writing under deadline?
Amanda: Movies and nature. Sometimes you need a break from all the words. Movies put the focus on something visual and walks or hiking in nature are a great way to get out of your own head.
Alyssa: What’s the largest amount of words you've ever written for the final draft of one of your books?
Amanda: 120,000 words
Alyssa: WOW! That is a lot of words right there! :D Series, or standalones?
Amanda: It really depends on the story. Some stories need more than one books to be told properly. Others are best served by one book.
Alyssa: What are you currently working on - something new? Anything contracted?
Amanda: We’re working on several books individually, but it always seems risky to talk about them before they are done. We also have a planned sequel to Endless in the works.
Alyssa: SEQUEL! WOOT! I like sequels :D And that’s all for today! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, ladies!
Amanda: Thanks for having us!

Official Summary:
IN A RACE AGAINST TIME, HOW DO YOU KEEP THOSE YOU LOVE SAFE?
Jenny Kramer knows she isn't normal. After all, not everybody can see the past lives of people around them. When she befriends Ben Daulton, resident new boy, the pair stumbles on an old music box with instructions for “mesmerization” and discover they may have more in common than they thought.
Like a past life.
Using the instructions in the music box, Ben and Jenny share a dream that transports them to Romanov Russia and leads them to believe they have been there together before. But they weren’t alone. Nikolai, the mysterious young man Jenny has been seeing in her own dreams was there, too. When Nikolai appears next door, Jenny is forced to acknowledge that he has traveled through time and space to find her. Doing so means he has defied the laws of time, and the Order, an ominous organization tasked with keeping people in the correct time, is determined to send him back. While Ben, Jenny and Nikolai race against the clock -- and the Order -- the trio discovers a link that joins them in life -- and beyond death.
