Stacking the Shelves (#163)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, January 31st to Saturday, February 6th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

EDITED: Here we are!

Never heard of this one! My thanks to Harper, but o.O

I am SO excited to read this book! The ending of Madame X left me conflicted.

Another surprise novel I haven't heard of (though the publicist may have emailed me?). Thank you, Random House.

Thank you, Penguin! A lovely surprise. I'll be reviewing this one for the blog tour in March!

Other awesome swag and goodies from Katharine

Thank you so much, Katharine! So excited to be part of the Princesses. :)

Thank you, Becky! I especially love the map. :D

Various AWESOME buttons
From Amber! She's the best. <3 Thank you, chica!

From NetGalley:

I am SO excited about this book! I adored The Marriage Contract so much.

From Edelweiss:

This will be my first Kenneally book! I want to see what all the fuss is about. Plus, soccer!

Such a long week! I couldn't wait for the weekend. How was your week?

    1. YAY! I hope you love it! If it's The Rogue - I liked it but didn't love it, but totally recommend it anyway. Saint is so dreamy!

  13. Lots of great stuff! I was debating Defending Taylor. I didn't like Breathe Annie Breathe at all and it's the same author. I haven't read any of the other books in the series, though. Maybe they are better. Enjoy your haul! Have a great week and thanks for stopping by The Cover Contessa, Alyssa!

    1. Madame X was good but I fear for the romance, a little! Hopefully things clear up in Exposed. I do hope you give Katee Robert's books a chance, you'd like them. :D

      Thank YOU, Katiria!

  17. Whoa, you got approved for the Kenneally book??? They take so long to approve or deny people, I'm still waiting on mine. I hope you like it. What's up with all the random unsolicited mail they've been sending lately? I haven't requested a book in over a year and I still get these random books...

Have a great rest of your week Alyssa!

    1. They didn't even tell me though! I was on Edelweiss and checked my approvals/declines/pending, and it said that I had been approved, but I never got an email. -_- Good thing I checked.

Penguin Random House is so odd! I give most of my unsolicited books away, almost never keep them. Now if they were to send me The Rose and the Dagger... ;)

Thank you and you too, Nereyda!

  19. That's a lot of awesomeness in your haul this week, Alyssa! I love the writing on the cover of "Some of the Parts" so original. That alone makes me want to pick it up.
Have a fantastic rest of the week and happy reading.
