Stacking the Shelves (#182)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, June 12th to Saturday, June 18th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

June Uppercase Box, including a signed copy of My Lady Jane!

Signed by all three authors! And check out that tote bag! I love this month's goodies. =)

Oooo! Thank you so much, Berkley!

Unsolicited - thank you, Tor!

From NetGalley:

YAY! Thank you, GCP!

From Edelweiss:

I love Durst's books. Thank you, Harper!

From B-Fest (last weekend):

B-Fest swag - lots of great goodies!

Boring week, in terms of life! I'd rather boring than awful though. =) How's it going on your end, reader? Have a lovely weekend!

    1. Well, the Uppercase box is something you have to pay for... this month's book was extra special because all three authors signed the book!

I hope you love your future HR reads! Thank you, Genesis. =)

  2. I really must start the Rachel Caine series mostly because those covers are so pretty! Wohoo for a new Elizabeth Hoyt! She seems to be a writing machine, which is great for you and her fans! :)
I got Queen of Blood too and I'm looking forward to reading it. It will be my first book by the author, so fingers crossed I love it.
Have a wonderful week and boring is definitely better than awful! ;)

  4. Defo want My Lady Jane and the book swag looks excellent. I might need to put more effort into getting free stuff from websites and publishers again!

    1. Literally no websites and publishers involved in the BFest swag gains... I walked into my local B&N and took one of each. So.

  5. Cool box goodies!
Some of your publisher ones look good.

Wow, look at that haul of stuff from your weekend.

And agreed, boring is much better than awful. :)

  7. Can't wait to see your thoughts on The Queen of Blood! I've enjoyed a couple of Durst's books. You definitely raided the swag table at B-Fest! I think I recognize everything except the Carve the Mark sneak peek, which my B&N strangely did not have. Weird.

I hope next week is a little more exciting for you, although you're right; boring is definitely better than awful. :)

    1. Thank you! And not quite raided - I just took one of each. When I first got there, I was the first and only one there, and the B&N employee was like PLEASE TAKE THINGS. lol!

Well, my B&N didn't have that coloring book! RUDE. :D

    2. When I got there, the swag table wasn't manned at all. I ran into some people at my undergrad alma mater, so we stole the chairs and encouraged people to take stuff until the author panel started. I wonder if they ran into shipping or stocking problems so some stores missed certain things.

    3. That's neat that the B&N had an author panel! Nothing of the sort at my local one - which doesn't surprise me. Meh!

I definitely think some stores didn't have as many goods! Like, that Griffin Teen tote never made an appearance at my B&N. Ah well!

  12. Have you read My Lady Jane yet? It's very good! I honestly went into it not thinking much of it, but as long as you don't mind manipulated history, you'll really enjoy it. It's like a YA version of The Princess Bride and so funny. I was cracking up so much through the book. I hope you enjoy all your new lovelies!

  13. I've been really wanting to read Rachel Caine's new series. Is it called Ink and Bone or something like that??? It sounds really interesting and unique. I just wasn't a huge fan of her Morganville Vamps books.

Hope you enjoy your lovely haul!

  18. I just got My Lady Jane in a subscription box too! But I got Owlcrate! I love that tote bag! I wish I could have gone to B-Fest last weekend, but it was branding so I couldn't find the time to drive 2 hours to the nearest B&N. :( But all those goodies look awesome! Enjoy all of your awesome new books!

    1. My local B&N apparently had ONE author come in on that Saturday, but it was for self-help author, I think? Someone I'd never ever hear of. They advertised that Friday night's trivia well, but I couldn't make it. :/ I went on Saturday, chatted and hung out a little, got the freebies, and left.

      Thank you, Liza!

  26. Yaaay for getting lots of mail last week :D You are awesome Alyssa. <3 Gah. I wish I could get those awesome bookish boxes :) But must are not open to Norway, and if they are, it's so so expensive. Ugh. One day, maybe :) Happy reading. <3

    1. What!? Aww, I could see why they're expensive. How is Owlcrate's fare? I've seen a friend from France order the Owlcrate box. But you're right, it's probably some serious monies. :/ *hugs*
