Baltimore Book Festival 2014 - Friday Recap (and GIVEAWAY!)

WELL HELLO THERE!! :D

Yesterday, as many of you know, I attended the Baltimore Book Festival. It's an annual festival that occurs during the last weekend of September, and celebrates BOOKS. Tons and tons of books, publishers, libraries, organizations, etc. get to show off their goods at this event.

This year, instead of Mt. Vernon Place, the Festival was held at the Inner Harbor! Which meant that the event would be much larger than it usually is. And it was! Many authors, tents, and books were present, much more than usual.

So! I only attended the Friday - Saturday and Sunday won't really work out well for me, with schoolwork and my first two midterms just days after the Festival. So I most likely won't attend on either of those days. But I had a wonderful time (as always), got to meet amazing people, and I have fabulous pictures to share with you all!

The "Writing Science Fiction" panel - featuring Jennifer L. Armentrout, Cheryl Klam, Em Garner, Diana Peterfreund, and more!

Hannah, Jen, and I - #yadc

Jennifer L. Armentrout signing my arsenal of books!

She's the sweetest - she knew my name and blog name and remembered me from last year!!

Ashley from The Quiet Concert!

Another science fiction panel, featuring Cheryl Klam, Diana Peterfreund, Marissa Meyer, and more!

Diana Peterfreund, lovely and insightful as always :)

Bummer that I didn't bring any of Marissa Meyer's books to sign, but it was really great to meet her!

Cheryl Klam a.k.a. the best person EVER!! She brought an ARC of Etherworld, specifically for me! She's so great :)

And here's my loot. The two copies of Opposition, Don't Look Back, and Elusion, I brought with me. Etherworld, well, Cheryl brought that for me :D

This is the copy that will be given away (see the bottom of the page!)

And you as well, JLA!

Isn't she nice?!

#TeamBambi fo sho!

My ARC of Elusion, now signed!

The surprise that Cheryl had waiting for me!

SHE IS AMAZING.

Swag. So much swag.

So basically, this event is my favorite of the year. BEA has nothing on the Baltimore Book Festival, in my opinion. Yes, there are no galley drops or massive giveaways at the Festival. But it feels more like a CELEBRATION of books, as it is!

So! What would all of this be without something to share?! Notice how I bought two copies of Opposition. One was personalized, one wasn't! So here is your chance to win the signed (but not personalized copy)!

The Giveaway:

Win a prize pack of Baltimore Book Festival goodies, including a signed paperback copy of Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout, and tons of swag! ! PLEASE SEE THE GIVEAWAYS PAGE AND/OR THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS LISTED IN THE RAFFLECOPTER BEFORE ENTERING!

Open INTERNATIONALLY! Good luck!
