Stacking the Shelves (#89)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, August 31st to Saturday, September 6th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

From NetGalley:

OMG!! I was invited to read this one, by Skyscape. One of my all-time favorite authors!

I literally just reviewed this book yesterday (Friday), so I immediately downloaded the sampler from NetGalley, when I got the chance. I usually don't like samplers but EH. I'm excited about this one!

Historical romance :D :D :D :D

This one has been on my TBR list for ages! Fantasy for the win :)

I haven't read any of this author's books, but I'm excited about this one! The pretty purple labyrinth cover though ^_^

From Edelweiss:

Approved for the blog tour!

I am loving sophomore year so far (minus the way the gilipollas seems to want to play with me) but I AM SO TIRED. In a fabulous way.

Don't forget to enter:

In the Afterlight HUGE prize pack! (USA only)

See the cover of Chantress Fury and win Chantress and Chantress Alchemy! (USA/INT)

  11. This STS post reminded me to read the Bone Season ASAP! I've bought it a year ago and it's still sitting on my shelf, no not really, on my e-reader waiting to be read. Hahahahaha. I'm really apprehensive because of the mixed reviews. Congrats for being invited BTW!

And wow to Princess of Thorns! I seriously want to have it but NG rejected my request. I am still trying in Edelweiss though. :D

Happy to know that you are adjusting well in your sophomore year.

    Have a fun weekend!

    1. YES! Do it! I know what you mean about the mixed reviews - hence why I was hesitant as well. Thank you! And OMG I hope you get Princess of Thorns D: Good luck and thank you again!

  12. AHHHHHH so jealous of Suspicion, so can't wait to get my hands on it! Read her Timeless (I think that's what it's called anyway), but haven't finished the series yet. Such a gorgeous cover though! :) Happy reading!

  15. Yay for gorgeous books :D I hope you love them all sweetie. <3 And ohh. I am curious about Princess of Thorns. BUT NOO. I just remembered that I requested it via NetGalley this week. Just went to check if I got it. I was declined :( SO UNFAIR, lol :D But hoping you will love it. <3 Then I will see if I should buy it, hih :D But ohh. Suspicion. I did not request that one. I was planning to, but then I read a very bad review. Yeah. Not for me :( But hope you love it. <3 Happy reading Alyssa :)

  20. I just had to Google what a gilipolla was, and BOO to them! I'm glad you're loving school so far! It's always better when you're enjoying it. :)

I'm not a fan of samplers either! Sometimes I'll read a first chapter of a second book if it's at the end of the first book, but that's very rare. They feel disjointed! I guess that means you liked the first book, though, so that's exciting! I still need to read it. :)

Weeeelll, I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEK ALYSSA!

    1. LOL please excuse my bilingual crazies hehe ;D

I think I'll review The Orphan Queen and The Mime Order in one post (the samplers) since I can't really fully review them. I hate being left hanging!

      Thank you, Rachel! You too!!
