"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week, I'm featuring:
Walk the Edge by Katie McGarry
Book Two of the Thunder Road series
Publisher: Harlequin TEEN
Publication Date: March 29, 2016
Summary (from Goodreads):
Razor knows his family is haunted by secrets of the past…
High school senior Thomas "Razor" Turner knows his family has a dark history as part of the Reign of Terror motorcycle club, especially when it comes to the secrecy surrounding his mother’s death.
When Razor starts to dig deeper into his mum's case he turns to the unlikeliest source for help: classmate Breanna Miller, the shy, smart girl he's never looked twice at. But the more time they spend together, the more they realise they actually have in common, and how attracted to each other they really are.
When secrets from the past are revealed can their newfound feelings survive?
I didn't 100% love Nowhere But Here, but I am intrigued by the series and definitely want to continue reading the books!
I still need to read the first in this series. I enjoy reading Katie's writing so I'm sure I'll be hanging out for this one too.
ReplyDeleteYou would definitely enjoy the series, Marilyn!
DeleteI didn't like Nowhere But Here nearly as much as Iiked some of Katie McGarry's other books. I think I went into it thinking that it would be like Sons of Anarchy (one of my favorite shows) and was disappointed when it didn't come close. I still want to read this one when it comes out though because I'm hoping it will be better. Hopefully my library will have a copy.
ReplyDeleteMe either! But my reasons for not liking it was very specific to that book. This one should (hopefully) be better for me. Good luck!
DeleteNice! Been seeing a lot of this one lately! Hope you enjoy it as well!
ReplyDeleteHere's my WoW
Have a GREAT day!

Thanks, Jessica!
DeleteGreat pick! This was mine last week! I'm not as big a fan of this series as PTL. Although the first PTL book I wasn't a huge fan of, but the others I loved. Maybe this will be the same. Have a great week! My WOW
ReplyDeleteAgreed, Brooke! But perhaps this one will be better than book one.
DeleteThat cover looks really amazing. I have not read any book from this author but maybe I'll be changing that soon. ;)
ReplyDeleteMY WAITING ON WEDNESDAY
You should read Pushing the Limits!
DeleteGreat pick- hope you get a chance to read it soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brandi!
DeleteGreat pick! She does a great job with teenage angst!
ReplyDeleteFor sure, Andrea!
DeleteI liked the first book well enough. I really don't like the motorcycle club and the group mentality. But I still want to read this book.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds good to me, Pili!
DeleteLooking forward to reading this one myself! I really enjoyed the first one. Hopefully book 2 will be better for you. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, Nick! ^_^
DeleteI haven't read anything by McGarry though I've heard so many good things about her books. Great choice, Alyssa and thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThank you - and you're very welcome!
DeleteI really need to read something by the author because I hear such great things about her books! I hope you get to enjoy this one soon, Alyssa!
ReplyDeletePushing the Limits was amazing, maybe that one? Thank you, Becky!
DeleteI haven't started this series yet- am hoping to binge read it later. Hope your wait isn't long!
ReplyDeleteMy WoW
Hopefully not!
DeleteYAS! I'm waiting on this sucker too! I just finished Nowhere But Here and I really need this book now. Sooooo much longer to wait...
ReplyDeleteAlmost there, almost there!
DeleteI see this author's name everywhere! I've never read anything by her, though - I tend to go more for fantasy than contemporary. Maybe I'll check her out sometime, though :)
ReplyDeleteShe's very prolific, and super nice! Her contemporary is really gritty and tough but real. You should try Pushing the Limits!
DeleteOh I love Katie McGarry but I have yet to read her Thunder road series.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me!

ReplyDeleteThank you! I don't know if McGarry's books are books you might enjoy, but if you read them, I hope you enjoy them!
DeleteOh yes! So loved the first one. Need this one.
ReplyDeleteYaasss, Val!
