Waiting on Wednesday (#11): Spirit by Brigid Kemmerer

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

This week, I'm featuring:

Spirit (Elemental, #3)

Spirit by Brigid Kemmerer
Book Three of the Elemental series
Publisher: K Teen
Publication Date: May 28, 2013

Summary (from Goodreads):

With power comes enemies. Lots of them.

Hunter Garrity just wants to be left alone. He’s learned the hard way that his unusual abilities come at a price. And he can’t seem to afford any allies.

He’s up to his neck in hostiles. His grandfather, spoiling for a fight. The Merrick brothers, who think he ratted them out. Calla, the scheming psycho who wants to use him as bait.

Then there’s Kate Sullivan, the new girl at school. She’s not hostile. She’s bold. Funny. Hot. But she’s got an agenda, too.

With supposedly secret powers rippling to the surface everywhere around him, Hunter knows something ugly is about to go down. But finding out what means he’ll have to find someone he can trust…

This is the third book of a five-book series! The first two books, Storm and Spark were simply amazing. I have very high expectations for Spirit, and I have a feeling I won't be disappointed! And if it couldn't get any better, Brigid lives in Maryland. I LIVE IN MARYLAND. I love MD authors! :D

HEY, AND GUESS WHAT I GOT ON YESTERDAY!

I love Brigid.

*sniffles*

  15. LOL! Congrats on receiving the book in mail. I read the first one and thought it was decent. Still planning on reading the second book! It's going to be interesting reading the book from Hunter's POV because from what I recall, he wasn't a nice guy in the first book.

    Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Read Spark! Trust me, Hunter gets better. We all didn't like him in the first book, but in the second one, and apparently, in this one, he gets better :)

My pleasure. Angie! Thank YOU :D
