"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week, I'm featuring:
Spirit by Brigid Kemmerer
Book Three of the Elemental series
Publisher: K Teen
Publication Date: May 28, 2013
Summary (from Goodreads):
With power comes enemies. Lots of them.
Hunter Garrity just wants to be left alone. He’s learned the hard way that his unusual abilities come at a price. And he can’t seem to afford any allies.
He’s up to his neck in hostiles. His grandfather, spoiling for a fight. The Merrick brothers, who think he ratted them out. Calla, the scheming psycho who wants to use him as bait.
Then there’s Kate Sullivan, the new girl at school. She’s not hostile. She’s bold. Funny. Hot. But she’s got an agenda, too.
With supposedly secret powers rippling to the surface everywhere around him, Hunter knows something ugly is about to go down. But finding out what means he’ll have to find someone he can trust…
This is the third book of a five-book series! The first two books, Storm and Spark were simply amazing. I have very high expectations for Spirit, and I have a feeling I won't be disappointed! And if it couldn't get any better, Brigid lives in Maryland. I LIVE IN MARYLAND. I love MD authors! :D
HEY, AND GUESS WHAT I GOT ON YESTERDAY!
I love Brigid.
*sniffles*
I have fallen in love with the Elemental series they are awesome. The way this book is developed is great and pack full of action.

LOL! Congrats on receiving the book in mail. I read the first one and thought it was decent. Still planning on reading the second book! It's going to be interesting reading the book from Hunter's POV because from what I recall, he wasn't a nice guy in the first book.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
Angie @ YA Novelties
Read Spark! Trust me, Hunter gets better. We all didn't like him in the first book, but in the second one, and apparently, in this one, he gets better :)
DeleteMy pleasure. Angie! Thank YOU :D
One of these days I'm going to get to these books...everyone keeps raving about them. Great choice, and thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteYou should! Thanks! ^_^
DeleteYou put your WoW as a book you already have? I think I did that once but that's because I'd scheduled it like month in advance. Haha. It's cool though. And yeah, I'm excited for this one too! Thanks for dropping by, darling! xx
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, and I just noticed my button in your sidebar! It's my old one but I still feel really special :D Thank you! I love you! <3
