Stacking the Shelves (#289)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, July 1st to Saturday, June 7th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

Nothing this week!

From Edelweiss:

I am a little scared of this book. The story is super heartbreaking and needs a ton of trigger warnings. But I need to see how it ends.

This was a boring, tiring week. Notice how I haven't posted a ~real~ review in forever (I've posted shortened ones but nothing like what I usually would post). I'm tired, fam.

  1. I've never heard of Fury, but wow, you make it sound intriguing. I would be scared of some heartbreak too, but I'm still very interested!

  2. Ahh! Fury!! Edelweiss turned me down for it and I was in tears for that alone! I LOOOOVE Rachel's books. I think I got my galley from Netgalley last year and they've held me in limbo for a month or so now with approving this request! Really hoping they do because I NEEDZ it soooo bad! Lol!

Hope you enjoy your new reads!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

  3. Yes, this has been a tiring last couple of weeks with the heat and heavy weather and work to be done. Hopefully, things will level out for you and you can get back to your books and a few more reviews. But, don't sweat it, ride out what life is giving you. If you have to do mini-reviews or quick bullet point-types, then that is alright, too.

    Have a good weekend, Alyssa!

  4. I'm tired too! Plus the horrible heat isn't helping. It was 116 degrees yesterday here! I really wanted to start Rachel Vincent's series but just got too busy. This is book three, right? Hope you get a nap today😁

  5. It's hard working full time and it's hot and all that makes me tired. I am two books behind in The Great Library series. I better giddy up on that. Awesome picture by the way.

  9. Sorry you're so tired - I can understand that. I really meant to schedule ahead a ton last week, but then I got sick, and I'm really only a couple days ahead. Sigh.

  10. I really want to read Vincent's menagerie books but all the content warnings and general grimness have scared me away. I just don't think I can read a series with so little joy, you know?

Awww girl, I feel you re: being tired. Maybe you should take a little hiatus from blogging and rest up. We'll all still be here!

Also, this an award and tag free blog. While I am flattered that you would think of me, I really do not have the time to follow up. Thank you!
