Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!
So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, August 16th to Saturday, August 22nd?
(all links to Goodreads are provided!)
In the mail:
THANK YOU, KATHY! She is the best! In case you missed the news - Kathy and I are presenting on a panel in October, in Baltimore!
Thank you soooo much, Alison! This was a giveaway win. :)
Thank you, Livia! I beta-read this one last year. So appreciative of her wonderful gift!
From NetGalley:
I actually had this widget sitting in my inbox for weeks! I've now downloaded it. So excited!
This week was a busy one for me! I went on a field sampling trip for my lab - we went on a boat past the Bay Bridge (Chesapeake-Annapolis area). So cool!
I also posted two reviews of widely popular books - Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, and Menagerie by Rachel Vincent! Check them out, yeah? :D
A panel to what in October?! That's one of my most anticipated books from Harper in the winter! I'm so so soooo excited (because if it's fantasy, it's on my radar).
ReplyDeleteStarflight was AMAZING. I had so much fun reading that (and in one sitting, too). I hope you like it!
I still need to read Daughter of Dusk. I'm excited though because I loved the first book.
Excellent books! Excellent week! :)
Kidlitcon! And I hope you love it when you read it!
DeleteI didn't like DoD much, to be honest! But it is very pretty ;D
Thank you!
Oooh Starflight! I still need to read Melissa's first duology, so I'm able to reign in the envy for this one! Even though it's a totally new series! LOL! I'm weird in that I when I decide I want to read an author's book, I tend to go back and read their first ones first. Even if they are totally different series! Haha!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all the lovely new reads!
My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
I know EXACTLY what you mean, Jessica, I feel the same! Thank you!

DeleteWow! Licking my chops over your goodies from this week. That's cool about the field sampling trip on the boat. I was glad you clarified about what Bay Area b/c I grew up near San Francisco and we called that the Bay Area. :)
ReplyDeleteSmall week in books yet one of my favorite haul weeks! And you know, we here in Maryland called the Chesapeake Bay area, well, the Bay area :D Hehe!
DeleteThis is my first time taking part in Stacking The Shelves :)
ReplyDeleteNice book haul! Madame X sounds really interesting, and the reviews on Goodreads make it sound even more intriguing! I've added it to my wishlist :)
