Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!
So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, November 2nd to Saturday, November 8th?

A hardcover copy of In the Afterlight by Alexandra Bracken
Thank you, Little, Brown UK, Disney Hyperion, St. Martin's Press, and Random House!

Your second book is new to me. I hadn't heard of it before, but it does sound really good and excellent.
ReplyDeleteGrace @ Books of Love
I haven't read any of Gena's books yet even though she has been on my TBR pile for a while. Pawn is also on my list. I really need more hours in the day.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and hope you're having a fab weekend.
A few more hours, which I would use to sleep ;) Thank you!
DeleteYou are one brave lady! Starting on book 11 of a series like a sir! ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd Captive!! I'm still waiting to see if I'll be approved or not on NG for that one...
Hanging in there is not bad, but I'm sure it will get better Alyssa! *hugs*
It's a companion series, hopefully that makes it okay to start so late in the series O_O Thank you, Pili! And good luck!
DeleteI also got Magonia! It sounds really great and I'm pretty excited to read it! And wow, you're starting at book 11, wow haha, that's brave!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! And haha, companion series, hopefully that makes it okay!

DeleteI am SO excited to read Captive! I almost requested it, but I had already preordered it, and knew I would need the hardcover to match Pawn anyway. And I am hoping I get approved for Magonia too, it sounds so good (and the cover is so pretty!) Hope you enjoy them all :)
ReplyDeleteShannon @ It Starts At Midnight
I know what you mean! It's not too far from the release date, anyway. I hope you get Magonia!
DeleteLooks like lots of awesome books :D I hope you will love them all Alyssa. <3 I have yet to read Pawn (A) but I still pre-ordered this sequel. HMPH. One day I will read them both. I hope :D Hope you love it. <3 happy reading sweetie :)

I know you like romance novels as well! I have a review coming up, for The Darkest Touch.
DeleteThank you, Cyn!
Nice haul! Seeing a lot of Captive around and it makes me really want to read Pawn since I enjoyed her other books :) As for Gena Showalter, I've only read her White Rabbit Chronicles which I can't think about without some major fangirling but her other books sound good too. Have a nice week and happy reading!

ReplyDeleteHeh! Thank you so much! And OMG I cannot wait to read Magonia... it won't be for a while, but I'm excited! Thank you - and you too!
DeleteI was excited for Seeker, but apparently there's a love triangle, so that sucks. :/ I'll be curious to see what you think.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Magonia sounds really good - hope to see your review for that soon. :)
Happy reading, lady!
Danielle @ Love at First Page
Ohh, nooooo, that makes me so sad :( Obviously I'll still be reading it but dang it... ugh. I hope Magonia doesn't have a love triangle! Haha
