Stacking the Shelves (#178)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, May 15th to Saturday, May 21st?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

AHHH! Thank you so much, Rachel! This completes my collection. If you didn't see my review of this book posted last week, HERE it is! Along with two yummy swoons. ;)

Thank you, Roc!

AHH! Thank you so much, SMP! I'm very excited about this new Kristoff book. :)

From NetGalley:

*cringes* I know. Lots of books from NetGalley. BUT, my ratio is currently 99% on NetGalley, and I only had two books to review on there before I added these four. And I've scheduled review dates for all of these. I'm being careful! :D

This was my first week out of spring semester! I worked the entire week at my job at the university, and I'll be starting my internship on Wednesday (see HERE!). I'm not really nervous but I probably will be a mess on Wednesday morning. :D

In other news! Check out my Ahdieh collection! Let me know if I'm missing anything, in terms of swag. ;)

  2. That's quite a collection. Sadly, I wouldn't know if anything is missing.

Oh, nice NG picks. I got Dare to Stay as well.

Wishing you luck on first day of internship.

    1. Me either! Those are what I've seen so far, and the pub sent them to me. I'm wondering about extra stuff!

Thank you so much, Sophia! And I hope we both LOVE Dare To Stay. =)

  3. Awesome haul! I am amazed by your NetGalley ratio of 99%. I really need to get caught up with mine. I am looking forward to reading The Invisible Library soon. Good luck with your internship!

    1. Now it isn't, from these four downloads, but before the downloads, it was at 99%. I dug myself out of a whole the size of a city!

      Thank you very much, Carole!

  4. OOoh nice!!! And yay for an awesome Netgalley ratio!! Can't figure out how to get mine higher! Thankfully it's still at 97% last I checked!!

I need to read TR&TD soon still too! In terms of swag I think she might have had some bookmarks, but I can't be sure. Or if those are what you mean either! LOL!

Hope you enjoy all your new pretties!

My STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then if you can!

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. You are doing VERY well on NetGalley too! It's not easy, eh?

I'm looking for anything Ahdieh-related! Bookmarks, pins, book cards, anything. I'll have to look on #booksfortrade/#swagfortrade!

      Thank you, Jessica!

  5. Loving your TWATD collection! Super cute! :)
I'm excited to hear your thoughts on Foolproof Love. I don't think that TB series is for me, sadly. :/
Happy reading and have a great weekend!

    1. Thank you! I'm pretty (very) excited about it. ^_^

I haven't read most of the books in this Bailey series, but I thought the third one was okay. I'm very VERY curious about this fourth one, because the male protagonist was only just introduced in book three, and he is intriguing!

Thank you and you too, Nick!

  6. The Rose & The Dagger!! I need that book like air! I'm still kicking myself for not pre-ordering it^^ I'm curious about The Invisible Library too so I'll be looking out for your thoughts on that one. Your NG haul isn't my tastes personally but I hope you enjoy them :) Happy reading!

    1. Go go go, borrow/request/buy ROSE now! It's so good and totally worth the read.

      Thank you, Micheline!

  8. Wow, you're at 99% on Netgalley?! Bravo, Alyssa! I'm curious to hear what you think of Exiled. I couldn't finish the 2nd Madame X because it was ticking me off. I hated that she was sleeping with Caleb knowing he was screwing all his (not even sure what to call them) students (?). I would've kicked his butt to the curb and never let him touch me! Let me know how it goes. :)

Good luck with your internship! :)

    1. I buckled down in 2015 and got the ratio way up! Plus a little self-control (which, as you can see in this post, has its ups and downs). I'm not the *biggest* fan of this Madame X series, but I need to know how it ends. You know what I mean? D: I definitely will!

      Thank you, Rachel!

    BTW, love your Adieh collection!

    1. Last year, I made it an unofficial goal to dig myself out of the NetGalley hole! So I reviewed a bunch of old titles and submitted as much feedback as possible.

      Thank you, Zee!

  15. Nice haul, and I'm envious of your Netgalley rating! I can't seem to break 79%... I'll move up to 80% for a few books, but then I see all the pretty covers and start clicking away. Happy reading!

  16. Ah, pretty collection! I can't decide if I want to try hard to get an ARC of The Rose & the Dagger to make my collection or just trade away my ARC of Wrath. Decisions!

Nevernight sounds amazing! I haven't read any of Jay's solo books, but I think that might change it. :)

I read your post about how busy you are and LORD ALYSSA! How do you do it? I struggle with a full time job and the blog! I bow down to your superior time-management skills and energy. I hope you have a wonderful summer, though, and I'm sure you'll be wonderful at your internship! :D

    1. DUDE! I feel the same way about SO MANY half-finished collections of mine! You'd probably get some great goods for the Wrath ARC. ;)

This will be my first solo Kristoff book as well!

THANK YOU, RACHEL! I have a feeling that things will slow waaaaay down after I graduate next year, but I have a year until then. Circle back in a year and see what happens. ;D

Thank you so much, Rachel! You too!
