Happy Friday, bibliovores! Today is another day in which I didn't feel like writing/posting a review, but did feel like posting something... so I'm doing another favorites post! You can check out my other favorites posts in a previous posts (for example).
I love Greek and Roman mythology! Or even simply the ancient Greece/ancient Rome setting. These books below have some sort of Greek/Roman basis and I love them!
I've read others, like Everneath by Brodi Ashton, Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini, Abandon by Meg Cabot, Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs. I didn't enjoy these but they are some of the more popular YA books that come up when you're looking at Greek/Roman-based stories.
What I REALLY want is ~adult romance~ novels based on Greek/Roman mythology and/or setting. Any recommendations are appreciated!
I adored Percy Jackson series. I've got my eye on reading Blood and Ash eventually. I love the ancient Greek and Roman settings, too.
ReplyDeleteOoh nice ones! Another one I really liked was Kelly Keaton's Gods and Monsters series! I still need to read the fourth book but I know I will be lost because I can't remember much about the first three books!
ReplyDeleteI honestly can't think if I've read any adult Greek/Roman mythology based book. I think they've all be YA. Weird. Lol.
I loved the Percy Jackson books! And Valiant was good too, but then I never read the sequel whoops...
ReplyDeleteas for adult reads... I know Wendy Higgins has a YA/adult crossover about Cupid/Psyche coming out next year... but other than that i cant think of any
Poseidon and Sea of Monsters looks really good and may be something I would enjoy.

Probably not a big surprise but I LOOOOVE Greek and Roman mythology. Out of the ones you've featured I've only read the first 3 Percy Jackson books. I really need to continue the series. I do have some adult recommendations though. Villain's Love series by Mary Bernsen, Lover Divine by A. Star (my personal fave!) and Ares' Temptation by Aubrie Dionne
ReplyDeleteI have read Percy Jackson and of Poseidon. I actually enjoyed Starcrossed. I never finished the series, but I thought the first book was good.

ReplyDeleteOhh, I have read a few of these too :D The Valiant was so meh for me. Sigh. But I will still be reading the rest of the series, one day, haha :) I do find mythology books to be sort of interesting.
