Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!
So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, June 25th to Saturday, July 1st?

In the mail:
This is new to me! Thank you, PRH. =)
This book sounds great! Also, one of my favorite male names is Sebastian. Sold! Thank you, SMG!
I am looking forward to reading this conclusion! This series is such a good one. Thank you, PRH!
What a lovely surprise! It's even prettier in person. Thank you so much, PRH!

Bought from Amazon:

Entangled is having a huge sale! Their Brazen books are $0.99 and I stocked up just a little. The sale ends on July 2nd so I may go back for more! Some books from their other romance lines are also on sale (not just Brazen books).
My second week at work is over! I also moved out of my apartment yesterday - that was bittersweet. On the one hand, I'm so relieved to not have to pay that amount of rent anymore. On the other hand, I am going to miss living by myself. And living in that apartment in general. But I'm embracing this change, and all of the other 545365474674 changes I have going on. I have another exciting change happening this coming week, so stayed tuned! Thanks, as always, for sticking with me!
I am so curious about Forest of a Thousand Lanterns, crossing my fingers that it'll be good! And I got a copy of Ash and Quill as well, can't wait to see how this trilogy ends!
ReplyDelete~Mogsy @ BiblioSanctum
Me too! It was an awesome surprise. I hope you enjoy Ash and Quill - I just posted my review!
DeleteSo I am familiar with most of these titles as parts of series I haven't yet started but I hope you love them! Also congrats on the move and saving money just focus on the positives more than the sad parts :) Good luck! My Shelf
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you're feeling with them! Thank you, Eve! I'm really excited about the saving money part, especially. ;)
DeleteSome great book mail you've got there...The Savage Dawn looks so gorgeous!
ReplyDelete@TeacherofYA
Thank you! It certainly does!
DeleteOh wow, you got some great looking books this week! I have a few of the on my TBR already. lol!
ReplyDeleteI saw the sale for the Brazen books and I'm trying to behave myself and not scoop a ton of them up. Figures they would have a sale when I'm trying a "book freeze" hahaha! They are trying to test me, I think.
I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy your new books!
I'm glad! OMG Julie you are definitely missing out! I feel stocked up on Brazen books for life. :D
DeleteSeeing your copy of Ash and Quill reminds me that I need to catch up on book two. Awesome book haul, hope you enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteYES! Paper and Fire was a roller coaster. As was Ash and Quill. ^_^ Thank you, Tammy!

The cover is really cool! I like how green it is. ;) Thanks so much for the encouragement, Greg! <3

Old Follower :)
Thank you! Oh that is so great that you started it already! I need that kind of dedication. :) I hope you like Forest of a Thousand Lanterns, if you read it!
DeleteGreat set of books you got! I really want to read Ash and Quill! Thanks for checking out my STS!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Ash and Quill was awesome, Ronyell. =)
DeleteYou got had a great haul this week! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stormi!
DeleteSo many good books. The Elle Kennedy books really look good. So does Ash and Quill. Enjoy and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat series of Kennedy's is REALLY good! Book one is a favorite of mine. Oh and I loved Ash and Quill. Thank you, Yvonne!
DeleteI am only familiar with one of those, but several definitely have my attention. I'll look forward to your thoughts on them.
ReplyDeleteMoving does cause mixed feelings. Hopefully you'll settle in with your new situation easily.
Have a great week, Alyssa!
Thanks, Sophia! The move went well, it's the unpacking and settling in that is the worst. Thank you for the well wishes, Sophia!
DeleteI love the name Sebastian too! Changes are tough, but they can lead to great things!
ReplyDelete-Lauren

Genesis @ Latte Nights Reviews
It was unsolicited but I think I might give it a chance!
DeleteI'm loving my job so far! I did similar work as an intern last summer (for a different company though) so I slipped right into my new job with little problems. I think it'll be good. =)
Thank you, Gen! <3
I am dying to read Forest of a Thousand Lanterns and Ash and Quill!! Hope you love them!
ReplyDeleteAnd yay for surviving a second week of work :) Hope it only gets better and that you soon get used to your new apartment :)
Have a lovely week, Alyssa!
Amy @ A Magical World Of Words
I liked Ash and Quill a lot! I hope I can read FoaTL in August... so much to read!
DeleteThank you so much, Amy! I hope you have a great week too!
I'm so jealous of Forest of a Thousand Lanterns! It sounds SO good, so hopefully you'll love it!
ReplyDeleteEek, changes! They sound like good ones, though! Also, not paying an arm and a leg in rent in seriously the best. (Says the girl who pays NO rent.....) Can't wait to hear what you've got going on!
It does sound good! I was surprised to see it in my mailbox. =) Girl I did exactly what you did and moved right back home. I don't plan on paying nothing BUT even paying $100 a month beats what I was paying before while in school - $1000+ per month. (I had a lot of scholarships and grants and part-time job to pay for that though.) So. I totally agree with you! :D
DeleteLots of great books this week! I plan to start reading the Rachel Caine series very soon and The Savage Dawn sounds awesome. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThat Entangled sale really hurt my wallet. I grabbed the Elle Kennedy books too because I adore her stuff! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteWow, you got lots of new books. I hope you'll enjoy them all. Entangled books are a hit and miss to me. The sale is tempting though. I love bargain books. Hehe..
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week. :)
Oooh, Forest of a Thousand Lanterns! I'm very excited to hear your take on that one.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on week two at work, and best of luck with the billion changes in your life. I've been there and it can be nuts, but exciting too. I'm rooting for you, Alyssa. :)
I got FoTL at ALA, I can't wait to start it as well!
ReplyDeleteOoh, looks like an intriguing haul. I need to get to the Rachel Caine series; I read the first book, but the second has been sat on my shelves a while, oops.
ReplyDeleteAhh, I hope moving from the apartment won't be too big of a change for you :D But yay for less money to pay then, haha ;) Hope you are doing good sweetie. <3 And yaaay for getting lots of stunning looking books :D Happy reading Alyssa. <3
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you got some great books this week! I enjoy Elle Kennedy books! Moving is always challenging I feel so many emotions and so much to do. I hope work is going well!!
