ReplyDeleteIt actually had a different cover, and it was supposed to publish in July! I'm so disappointed in the direction of the new covers, and with the release date being pushed back. Grrr!

DeleteI haven't read this series before! Despite the buzz surrounding its initial debut, it didn't really catch my interest... but that plot sounds great! Maybe I should take a look at the first book again? lol.

ReplyDeleteI think you're thinking of Samantha Shannon's series! The Bone Season, The Mime Order, etc. That series is supposed to be seven books. This one was only contracted for three! =)
