I know I am an odd one when I say this, but I am not the biggest fan of ARCs. I prefer to read the finished product...

ReplyDeleteIf I had gone to BEA (and man this is one of my biggest bookish dreams) I would have snagged an arc of Jennifer Niven's newest book, took a picture with Cassandra Clare, grabbed an arc of Gemina and A Torch Against The Night (is there an arc for this at BEA?).

if i had to go to BEA i would snag all i can^^;; really it's a dream and for swag we don't have anything like that here so i can't even imagine all the possibilities. i don't know if it was available but if it was there i would have LOVED a copy of Other book5 by anne bishop

ReplyDeleteJust got back from Chicago. The only book we really, really wanted, but alas, was not meant to be, was Heartless. BUT, I did come home with 120 books, and I got to chat with Laini Taylor in the TSA line at OHare.

I would enjoy Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kauffman, The Second Mrs. Hockaday by Susan Rivers, Heartless by Marisa Meyer, and Passenger by Alexandra Bracken. I'm sure there were many she didn't get and I would swoon over others.

I'd have absolutely loved to get Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kauffman - I can't wait to read that novel after how epic Illuminae was. Meeting Maggie Stiefvater and Marissa Meyer is also something I really want to do one day, so that would have been cool af.

I know that I'd try to meet all my fave authors plus more and I'd try to grab whatever I could - I love swag any kind of swag!! Books? That's a hard one. There are just so many. Heartless and The Square Root of Summer are a couple that I'd love to have!

I can't get to them so I try not to look at the information because it would be a little sad. I wish there was one closer to me so I could finally get to one!
