Stacking the Shelves (#129)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!

So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, June 7th to Saturday, June 13th?

(all links to Goodreads are provided!)

In the mail:

An "Above" necklace

Thank you, Sara! I won this back in October from Novel Novice. I'd forgotten that I had won! So it was a bit of a surprise package. You'll recall that I didn't like Atlantia.

Never heard of this one. Thanks, Simon and Schuster!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! I have the hardcover (signed, too!), but I really wanted the ARC. It's an old ARC, from 2011/2012! Thank you, Brittany!

Eeep! Thank you so much, Little, Brown! I thought I missed the mailing for Court of Fives, so I asked LB, and it worked out because they had Court of Fives AND Deceptive! AHHH!

From NetGalley:

A late approval (give that this book published on June 2nd), but an approval nonetheless! Thank you, Grand Central! I'm currently reading it and am intrigued!

This week started off really badly - I had terrible pain on Sunday night, which had me awake all that night... which led me to believe that I had appendicitis. Thankfully I DON'T have appendicitis - it was an infection, which seems to have cleared up. The week ended pretty well - especially in books!

  3. Glad you feel better after that scare.

I won The Marriage Contract at a blog tour so I'll be reading that one, too. Fun wins there especially since you forgot about them. Better than bills in that mailbox for sure.

    1. You should! I didn't like it, but I was in the minority (which is often typical of me). LOL

  9. Aww, girl, I'm sorry about the infection! At least it wasn't appendicitis or anything like that. I'm glad it cleared up, and of course, YAY for some awesome books! I'm TOTALLY dying for Court of Fives- it sounds like my kind of book, you know?? So nice of LB to send it to you with Deception as well. <33

    Happy reading Alyssa! :D

    1. Right?! I've never been more terrified in my life. IT WAS BAD D: But the week in books was good! I hope you love Court of Fives when you get the chance to read it! Hopefully some of the BEA attendees will give away their copies and you'll have a shot at winning one early!

Thank you - and you too, Aneeqah!

  14. I get a lot of unsolicited ARCs from Simon & Schuster, too. They even kept sending when I didn't blog for 4 years. They must be rich to waste good finished copies this way.
Weird that you didn't get your prize for 9 months. Hope you can stop by my post. http://eviloverlordthoughts.com/weekly-wrap-up-613/

    1. They probably are, given The Mortal Instruments franchise. And it was weird, but hey, I completely forgot about it! lol
