Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, in which bloggers share the books and swag they've received in the past week!
So, what did I get in the week of Sunday, July 20th to Saturday, July 26th?
(all links to Goodreads are provided!)
In the mail:
Thank you, Harper! I have two ARCs of The Perilous Sea - well, that's a problem, isn't it? In any case, expect reviews of these two in August!
For the Blog Tour:
I'm honored to be on the blog tour! I was on the blog tour for the first book, Gilded, and really enjoyed the book. Excited for Silvern!
Last full week of July, yo! It was a great week, even better than last week. There wasn't anything too special about this week, but there wasn't anything horrible about it... which was great :)
So jealous that you've got The Jewel. Enjoy them both :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Jillyn!
DeleteYou have the exact same haul as My Friends Are Fiction, spooky! http://www.myfriendsarefiction.com/stacking-the-shelves-24
ReplyDeleteLove the cover of The Jewel, reminds me of The Selection covers. I hope I can get round to reading it soon!
This week I'm making birthday preparations! - Under The Mountain
LOL that's Harper! And that's exactly what I thought at first - it's The Selection all over again... let's hope not ;)
DeleteOoh nice! Curious about the Perilous Sea! Looks intriguing! Hope you enjoy your new reads!
ReplyDeleteMy STS will be up tomorrow, so be sure to stop by then!
Have a GREAT day!

I love the series - be sure to catch The Burning Sky, if they mark it on sale before The Perilous Sea comes out!
DeleteAwesome Haul! Amy Ewing's book looks REALLY good and I can't wait to see what your thoughts are on Perilous of the Sea!

My Haul!
It's definitely great to look at, that's for sure!
DeleteNice haul this week. A lot of people seem to have received The Jewel, which looks amazing. I have had an eARC for a while now but still haven't got to it - hopefully I will soon though. I hope you enjoy all your reads this week :) Here's my STS.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean - I also picked it up from Edelweiss, but still haven't read it! I hope you enjoy it when you read it ^_^
DeleteNice haul, everyone seems to be getting The Jewel. It sucks to be Dutch sometimes >.<
ReplyDeleteMy new pretties :)

Nicole @ The Quiet Concert
Nice haul. The Jewel seems to feature a bit this week.
ReplyDeleteMy StS @ Marilyn's Mystery Blog
Indeed!
DeleteI absolutely love The Perilous Sea, and I hope you do, too! I haven't gotten to read the Jewel yet, but the ARC is sitting on my Kindle, waiting for me. I hope you enjoy all your books! Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteMy StS
YES! I'm so glad to here that! I hope you love The Jewel as well. You're welcome! =)
DeleteSOB. SO jealous of your print ARC of The Perilous Sea. Sniffs. I loved that book. <3 And I want the print ARC so bad, lol :) If you haven't read it yet, I hope you love it. <3 Such a good book. Anyway. Happy reading sweetie :D
ReplyDeleteBut you've read it, so that's a good thing! Some bloggers don't even get eARCs or print ARCs. Thank you, Carina!
DeleteThe cover for The Perilous Sea looks so cool! Haven't picked up the first book in the series yet but I heard amazing things about it :)
ReplyDeleteYOU SHOULD!! Definitely read The Burning Sky. ASAP, ROY!!
DeleteI had the UK version of The Jewel in the mail last week (which, looks like broken glass) still think the US covers better though, just so damn pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteHere's mine
Kirsty @ StudioReads
Hmmm, I'm curious as to what you mean by broken glass... will check out your haul from last week again :D
DeleteJewel looks like it will be a great read. Hope you love it and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI hope it is! Thank you, Brandi!
DeleteMan, I almost can't believe July is already almost over. This summer is just flying by. All three of those books have such gorgeous covers! I'll be reading e-arcs of The Perilous Sea and The Jewel soon-ish. I have a copy of Gilded, but I'm not sure when I'll read it. I hope you enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteRight?! Seriously! I don't really want to go back to school yet, especially consider that summer classes ended a month ago. I hope you enjoy The Perilous Sea, The Jewel, and Gilded!
DeleteYou know, average weeks are underrated! I mean, it's nice just to relax and live life with nothing interfering. :)
ReplyDeleteBut also, DROOLS at the pretties. I'm quite ready to see what you think of The Perilous Sea. I'll be reading it soooooooon! I might have a break down if it's not good, actually.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEK ALYSSA!
I agree! I should have been appreciating them more, in the past. I hope you enjoy The Perilous Sea! I'll cry if it doesn't live up to my enormous expectations lol. I think I need to re-read The Burning Sky though.
DeleteYOU TOO, RACHEL!! <3
Ah, obviously The Perilous Sea and you were meant to be since you have two copies! Let me know what you think of it when you're done! :)
ReplyDeleteDUDEEE, YOU TOO! Let me know if you don't get a copy, at some point. THIS IS A PROBLEM. And I have two. So.
DeleteOoh, I hope you like Silvern! I still need to read Gilded, but I'm looking forward to it. :)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Gilded!
DeleteI love the cover of The Jewel!
ReplyDeleteYou should do a Book Looks post for it! Wait... maybe you already have O_O
DeleteI'm really excited about Jewel so I can't wait to know your thoughts on it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Dea!
DeleteGreat haul! I loved the idea of The Jewel. And I've been wanting to check out Sherry Thomas' YA series because the covers are so pretty, is that shallow? haha. (and well I've heard things, too, haha). Hope you enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI hope you read The Burning Sky! I seriously LOVED it. And not shallow at all! Thank you!
DeleteAha! I've seen The Jewel and Perilous Sea on EW but was apprehensive to download them. I am still trying to determine the general consensus of the bloggers for these two books. Of course, with Perilous Sea, I still have to read The Burning Sky, isn't it? I'll think about it tonight and you know, skim through the goodreads review again. :D
ReplyDeleteI am really jealous of your physical ARCs. They are really pretty. Have fun reading them, Alyssa.
Thanks for stopping by Thoughts and Pens.
You shoulddddddd! At least with The Burning Sky/The Perilous Sea! I LOVED The Burning Sky :D
DeleteThank YOU, Charlotte!
YAY for a week without horrible stuff!! =D
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I still haven't read The Burning Sky?? I have it in my Kindle, but I still haven't read it!
Cannot wait to hear what you think of The Jewel, that's one of the books I fear will have a pretty cover syndrome!
Happy reading, Alyssa!
You must read The Burning Sky! It must be burning a hole through your Kindle! ;) I hope The Jewel isn't like The Selection tough...
DeleteHope you had an awesome weekend, Pili! Thank you!
The covers of those ARCs are GORGEOUS.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my blog as well. Maybe even hit the follow button? It’d be greatly appreciated! http://bundles-of-books.blogspot.com
