ReplyDeleteI think what I like the most about the series is that yes it's a romance, a very intense, sweet, passionate romance, but it's also so much more. I like the characters as individuals and I also like them as friends, and I just love how strong they become when they are together.

I really like the mythology (or whatever you call it) that JLA uses. I haven't read much like it.

I think I like the characters the best. They are just so well written and I like how much depth each of them has. I also like how not one character, so far, is completely good or completely bad; they aren't just black and white. Everyone has their reasons for doing something bad or doing a good thing.
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite part of the series is the creativity behind it. With every book, there's always something new that just fits everything so perfectly. The trace left by touch, the return of family, the origins... There's just so many things that I couldn't pick just one particular part!

ReplyDeleteI really like the Lux series, so much so that I tell everyone to read it and when they do they love it to. Katy is relatable and I loved reading about Daemon and her falling in love. The action, comedy, romance, and ALIENS :) make it a fun series to read. Can't wait to see how it ends.

I love the chemistry between Daemon and Katy!! Plus the story has a lot of action that makes you want to read faster and can't seem to turn the pages fast enough!!!

ReplyDeleteThe thing I like most about the Lux series is it doesn't shy away from conflict. Messy things happen, best friends don't necessarily forgive each other, and crushes can be annoying to the nth degree. Oh, and all the hot guys!! ^_^

Oh man, The Lux series is the first Paranormal series I fell in love with really. I've always been more into Fantasy and I thought I'd give Lux a shot since it had good reviews, and I'm so glad I did.

ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it, but I haven't read this series yet! *Cringes* I know, I know. But I've heard amazing things from friends, like how swoony Daemon is! Plus, I love, love aliens and I feel like we don't have a lot of awesome alien stories. I'm a huge Roswell fan and I adored Starcrossed. So I'm excited for this series!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about the LUX Series is the relationships, Jennifer L. Armentrout is the master of creating great dynamic relationships!!! You really feel and care for some of the characters and others you want to strangle at times and then at times can have redeeming qualities! I just love her books and the LUX series is no exception and I can not wait for Opposition!

ReplyDeleteI think I love Daemon as a part of the Lux series rather than the alien aspect. 2nd thing I love would be Katy and Daemon’s hilarious banter, and their sweet relationship. Then, comes the awesome alien aspect, like origins like Archer and Luc, and Arums like Hunter. The Lux series is an incredible story world where Daemon not only turned out to be the perfect, ever-confident alien but an amazing boyfriend. Guys like him are hard to find, even in a book, and I am seriously impressed by how much Daemon captures my attention. His first impression…not so good. But as the story progressed, I loved seeing Katy understand and fall for Daemon Black, the guy who pushed feelings away until he met his kitten. And just as a side note, he brings Katy cookies! Do I need to say any more about why he makes the perfect beau? And well, I like the whole of the Lux series because it has come together beautifully but I also love how Katy adapts every time her life changes drastically. She accepted Daemon’s true nature, being a hybrid, losing friends…all with time and grace (sort of). So I love love love the humorous act between Daemon and Katy, and that among everything else has kept me returning to the series

ReplyDeleteThere are many things I love about this series. I think that Daemon Black was my first litterary love, before him I thought I had fallen in love with other characters but once I saw how much I truly liked Daemon, I understood that it was all a lie. I have to admit that when I first started reading the book I did not expect to fall for these charcacters, but the banter between Daemon and Katy was just so much fun! But what I liked the most was those few glimpses that we got (sometimes a smile, a glint in his gorgeous eyes), showing us that in spite of the fact that Daemon seems like a true jerk, he's not. I also liked the fact that it was not love at first sight. It was obviously attraction at first sight, but there's nothing wrong with that. The fact that Daemon was a jerk on the fist book shows that even though he liked Katy, he still wouldn't put his family in danger over just a crush. And I just love how protective he is. And then , when he truly falls for Katy, when he knows in his heart that he's in love with her, he does everything in his power to be with her. And when he proposed, oh my God! he was so nervous and it ws just adorable ^^

I love Daemon and Katy's banter. I don't usually read sci~fi/alien books but after all the hype I was seeing I finally caved in before Opal was released and was so glad I did.I fell in love with Daemon right away!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I LOVE everything about the Lux Series. Its one of my top favorite books. I love of course the love that Daemon has for Kat and how they got there connection when he healed her. I love all the action in it that makes my heart race. I love that it has aliens and that they have powers. And also how the author drew out the love story between the main characters. Even though I wanted them together faster I think that's is what kept my interest in it even more. I love the whole story line. I am DYING to read Opposition and I cannot wait for it to come out!! And it's being released on my birthday!! YAY!!

Lux was the first alien series I had read, and from the first chapter of Obsidian I was hooked. I love how it is a fight over the light and the dark, the good and the bad. I loved for so long both Katy and Daemon refused to acknowledge their attraction to each other, the romance and their relationship always manages makes my heart race and crave more. There are so many aspects that make this series so amazing. The family aspect is another thing I love, Daemon will do anything to protect his family, at whatever cost. I wish I could put into words about how much I love this series but it is impossible, just so many feelings and thoughts.

ReplyDeleteThe Lux series has been a roller coaster ride; full of ups and downs for Kat. And I've loved reading every bit of it. Kat and Daemon's relationship wasn't always easy but it was totally swoon worthy!! Their chemistry was HOT! Daemon's irritating personality only made me love him more!! The humor and sarcasm Jennifer comes up with is hilarious, Making me laugh out loud while reading the Lux series more than once. (I think she should win a sarcasm award or something) Reading this series has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Waiting for Opposition has been torture, but the real torture will be when the series is over, and the won't be any more books...

There are many things I love about the Lux series. First of all the characters. Kat and Daemon's relationship has me crying, laughing, basically all the feels. Their chemistry was to die for and every single conversation they have I love. Also, the way Jennifer L. Armentrout writes is absolutely perfect. I love the witty conversations and I absolutely love the alien stuff that are added in this series. This is my first alien series and I don't know how to even explain all the feels while reading this series. In conclusion, this series is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to get Opposition :)
ReplyDeleteI guess it all begins with Katy being a book blogger. She loves books! Yes! And then Daemon he's very hard in the beginning i guess he was just scared. Daemon begings more and more to care about katy and her feelings. And when he finally admits he wants her she has kinda given up on him. The books are very fast paced there is always happening something. I guess sometimes it's even kinda funny. But iguess the ultimate love between katy and Daemon really does it for me. They fight for each other. They would do Anything. I guess for me Jennifer L Armentrout is a bonus to. She is always interacting with fans and such!
