This week, my swoon is from Period 8 by Chris Crutcher! (the only swoon in the book)
"Right here," she says, leaning over to kiss him. "World's best listener."
The kiss is long and hot and causes him to hesitate. "I gotta be sure we're goin' farther."
And that's it! Not too exciting, I know, but this book is actually sort of interesting. More mystery than anything else. And, the only other books I read were adult romance books, and those are sooo not young adult appropriate. Says this young adult.
So, what made you swoon this week?
I love the cover. I definitely need to read this one. I'm currently reading Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. I think right now my swoon goes to Warner from the Shatter Me Series.
