My Favorite YA Retellings

Happy Friday, bibliovores! Today is another day in which I didn't feel like writing/posting a review, but did feel like posting something... so I'm doing another favorites post! You can check out my other favorites posts in a previous posts (for example).

It is no secret that I looooooove a good retelling - especially fairy tale retellings. The following list contains all sorts of retellings (not just fairy tale ones). Enjoy!

Entwined  Stray (Four Sisters, #1)
Hunted
Flame in the Mist (Flame in the Mist, #1)  Unhooked  Princess of Thorns
When You Were Mine  Alice in Zombieland (White Rabbit Chronicles, #1)  Enchanted (Woodcutter Sisters #1; Books of Arilland #1)

Do you have any YA retellings you'd recommend?

  1. My favorite YA fairytale retellings will probably always be The Lunar Chronicles and Cruel Beauty. ♥

  2. I loved Cruel Beauty! I love this list, retellings are hit or miss for me, though. They have to be really good or I just don't enjoy them.

  3. After reading Vassa, which was odd, but interesting, I went and read the original folktale. I liked the way Porter retold it.

  4. Oh, I loved Hunted so very much. <3 I must re-read it soon, I think. And Entwined too, ahh. Been way way way too long since my first and only read of that one, lol :)

I love comments! I will always try and reply to your comments, as well as leave some comment love on your blog! :)

Also, this an award and tag free blog. While I am flattered that you would think of me, I really do not have the time to follow up. Thank you!
