Happy Friday, bibliovores! Today is another day in which I didn't feel like writing/posting a review, but did feel like posting something... so I'm doing another favorites post! You can check out my other favorites posts in a previous posts (for example).
Here are some of my favorite YA anthologies! I actually never liked anthologies when I was younger, but as an older Young Adult, I love them!
Here are some that I wanted to read! Yes, even the love triangle one.
I don't rememeber... but did you read The Tyranny of Petticoats edited by Jessica Spotswood? My sister and I liked that one. There is a second book in that series, called The Radical Element. I am also excited for Toil & Trouble: 15 Tales of Women & Witchcraft edited by Tess Sharpe and Jessica Spotswood. :) I can't wait to read A Thousand Beginnings and Endings!!
ReplyDeleteI just realized that I've never read a YA anthology. Glad to see your list to get some ideas.
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple of books on this list that I'd love to read. Some of my favorites are The Poison Eaters and Other Stories by Holly Black and Prom Nights From Hell by Meg Cabot, Stephenie Meyer, Kim Harrison, Michele Jaffe and Lauren Myracle. :)
ReplyDeleteI never read anthologies when I was younger either. Now I have come to appreciate them.

I'm starting to really like anthologies as it's fun to try new authors, and sometimes short stories just do the trick! A Thousand Beginnings sounds awesome, and so does Meet Cute. I liked My True Love Gave To Me quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteI read Enthralled ages ago, and there were a few of those shorts I would love to see as full books. Anthologies are hit or miss for me, but I liked My True Love Gave To Me and Feral Youth a lot.
ReplyDeleteAhhh. I own those first four ones, haha :D I really do need to read Slasher soon; those stories seem so awesome. <3 Lovely list sweetie :)
