Hey friends! Today is another day in which I didn't feel like writing/posting a review, but did feel like posting something... so I'm doing another favorites post! You can check out my favorite adult books (alphabet style) HERE, favorite Jane-Austen-Inspired YA books HERE, favorite YA foreign editions posts HERE, favorite YA books (alphabet style) HERE, favorite YA books with one-word titles HERE, and favorite swoons from YA books HERE.
Here are some of my favorite books (YA and adult) that have the word "shadow" in the title! There are sooo many books I could have chosen from.

There were others that didn't make my favorites list, like Shadowlark by Meagan Spooner, Falls the Shadow by Stefanie Gaither, Promise of Shadows by Justina Ireland, The Shadow Behind the Stars by Rebecca Hahn, The Shadow Hour by Melissa Grey, Shadowsong by S. Jae-Jones. Lotsssss of shadows. Tell me some of your favorite books with the word "shadow" in its title!
There are some good books with 'shadow' in the title. I still need to read Shadow and Bone and Reign of Shadows.
ReplyDeleteOoh nice ones!! I loved just about all your YA ones! I still need to read Redwine's which I will hopefully being doing soon!
ReplyDeleteI never thought about how many titles have the word "shadow" in them! I think another good one would be "dark." Or how about "A (blank) of (blank) and (blank.) I cringe now when I see a title that follows that format. Ok, sorry I went off on a tangent! Have a lovely weekend, Alyssa!
ReplyDeleteA Shadow Bright and Burning! <3 <3
ReplyDeleteGreat topic idea Alyssa! I love the Shadow idea!
ReplyDeleteI've owned A Shadow Bright and Burning for a while now and still haven't gotten to it. I really want to read it, but I feel like it would be perfect for fall. I really want to get to the Shades of Magic trilogy eventually. The premise sounds so intriguing. Thanks for sharing this list.
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since I've read Shadow & Bone but I remember loving it! I really need to finish the series one of these days. I love The Shadow Queen's cover.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to think of a book I read with "shadow" in it, and all I can come up with is Queen of Shadows by Sarah J Maas. I am impressed with the number of books you read with this word in the title. Now, if we look at my read shelf with the work "love", we would be here for days.
ReplyDeleteOhhh love seeing Shadow and Bone up there! I love that book so much. Fun post!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't realise how many books had the word "shadow" in its title, and we pretty much blanked out when thinking about the books we've read with its title. However, we used Goodreads, and it brought back such good memories. We liked Shadowfire by Tanith Lee, The Shadowlands in the Deltora Quest series and The Serpent's Shadow from the Kane Chronicles. Shadow and Bone is on our TBR list. Nice post :)
ReplyDelete~ Luna & Saturn @ Pendragons
