Best Books I’ve Read in 2017

Win one of THREE prizes! The first is one I've posted on Twitter -- win 12 YA books published during each month of 2017.

The second prize is a holiday-themed adult romance prize pack!

The third prize is a mystery box of books! This box could contain a mix of YA and adult books, ARCs and finished copies, paperbacks and hardcovers... basically I'm going to fill a box with books. All will be recently published or possibly to be published.

  1. Devils and Thieves seems like such a cool book. Reading your review, we also dislike love triangles (it gets so messy!) but the cover and your positive thoughts on it makes it seem a like nice read.

    We have haven't really read 2017 releases this year, but A Streetcar Named Desire is our favourite read this year. Merry Christmas and have a wonderful new Year!

  4. Fun to see what made your Best of list. Many are on my wish list still. I don't think I could get it down to just ten so way to go. I really want to read that Sophie Jordan series.

    1. It was super difficult to narrow it down to ten! I actually had about twenty for each (adult and YA) and had to cut both down in half. I'm not convinced I got all of my favorites in there!

  9. Some of my faves this year were Spellbook of The Lost & Found and Nyxia!
    I'm not so interested in adult romance but the other two price packs sound awesome

  11. INTO THE DROWNING DEEP By Mira Grant is at the top of my list followed by THE ALMOST SISTERS By Joshilyn Jackson and 13 MINUTES By Sarah Pinborough. The 12 YA books sound awesome!

  12. I'd be most interested in winning the YA pack prize. My YA favorites this year include When Dimple Met Rishi, Warcross, The Victoria in My Head, Caraval, Daughter of A Pirate King, and Long Way Down.

  15. Letters to the Lost was one of my favorites too but The Woman Who Would Be King by Kara Cooney was my #1 favorite. It wasn't published in 2017 though. Oh and also The Alice Network by Kate Quinn was amazing!

  22. I haven't read a single book on your list :( Guess I have some reading to do lol I feel like I just need to buy Devils & Thieves already! How much you enjoyed it has made me super curious. I also want to read Letters to the Lost since everyone seems to have enjoyed it.

  24. Isn't The Falconer trilogy amazing?! And I have only read the first book! LOL

    Also, Fury on Fire?! OMG! I love that the main characters didn't actually "meet" until about halfway through the book!

  29. I really enjoyed Love Letters of Abelard and Lily. It was a unique read about disorders and love. I also really loved Paradise Girl. It kept me reading at a frantic pace to see what would happen. I would love the mystery box.

  31. I don't read many historical fictions but glad my friend recommended Pachinko by Lee Min Jin which happens to be my best read this year. I would be interested in the mystery pack.

Some of my favorite books of 2017 are The Almost Sisters by Joshilyn Jackson, The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter, Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker, Hum If You Don't Know the Words by Bianca Marais, The Night the Lights Went Out by Karen White, The Book of Polly by Kathy Hepinstall, and The Lying Game by Ruth Ware.

  33. My favorite books were: Strange the Dreamer, Wicked Like a Wildfire, Even the Darkest Star, Daughter of a Burning City, The Last Samsara. At least a few of them. :)
    And I am interested in mystery pack.
