There were ...I was never a fan of required reading. There were a couple books that I did like: The Outsiders, Fahrenheit 451, Airborn by Kenneth Oppel, Freedom Writers. I also liked Shakespeare- but only when I was in high school- The Taming of the Shrew is probably my favorite. <br /><br /><br />There were two books that I absolutely disliked that I had to read for school... The Hiding Place by Carrie Ten Boom- this person could not write at all... even though she had important story to tell.
