But trying to push Gregor into taking on the responsibility of raising 3 children all at once that were not his, was overboard and not very believable, and ridiculous! Especially with a lifestyle of many sex partners, alcohol, fun times, and a warrior. For the most part I enjoyed most of the book right up until the last 30 minutes, when Gregor all of a sudden changes his mind, deciding that he wants to raise all 3 of the children that he couldn't care less for, even the one that tried to stab him! And the cliche' of an ending, to have everything work out perfectly for everyone, and live "Happily Ever After" ruined the book for me...

I would rate
Chapters 1 to 26.5 : 7.4/10
Chapters 26.5 to 27, & Epilogue: 3.2/10

I would not recommend this book.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17903372099403288822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634501776293792112.post-48208712042516947852015-03-17T11:03:28.255-04:002015-03-17T11:03:28.255-04:00Ooo, that's great! I hope that if you keep reading, you like it a little more!

Thank YOU!Alyssahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00128004483437247740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634501776293792112.post-17323356388539781922015-03-16T10:27:52.674-04:002015-03-16T10:27:52.674-04:00After accidentally reading the Chief, I managed to...After accidentally reading the Chief, I managed to steam-roll through the rest of the series, and really liked (and in some cases, loved) the books and the heroes! I was really looking forward to Gregor’s story.

Currently at 20% and couldn’t remember the last time the ‘heroine’ being so annoying and grating! Thought I would read a few reviews hoping things would change. Now it looks like I won’t be finishing this one, which makes me :(

Great review, thank you! :) x
gghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06505112278408183477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634501776293792112.post-65583629751397389702014-07-28T23:00:15.790-04:002014-07-28T23:00:15.790-04:00It's a really long series, that's for sure...It's a really long series, that's for sure! I'm going nowhere near this book and unfortunately the series either... can't be arsed to dedicate my time and effort to a series that might end up so disappointingly!
Thanks for your very honest review as always, Alyssa!Pilihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05235628363081574896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634501776293792112.post-38012365567009667532014-07-27T22:06:08.318-04:002014-07-27T22:06:08.318-04:00Right?! If I don't like her, it ruins the story for me. I just read an excerpt for The Arrow, and I have to say I was a bit irritated with Cait claiming that the children were Gregor's without any proof. I'm still looking forward to The Arrow though because I love reading about the Highland Guard members. :)
Great review by the way!Xiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04705314478526745318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3634501776293792112.post-37000077817753241192014-07-27T17:26:49.945-04:002014-07-27T17:26:49.945-04:00I hope you enjoy this one more than I did! So of course when I got notification that I was getting a review copy, I was really excited and now? Not so much. :/ Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08723981006662969594noreply@blogger.com
